landed, gave all exits a try, jumped around, left. only thing i noticed is some invisible colliders walling off some of the cliffsides. despite this sounding bad, this is actually good imo. it keeps people from wandering into forbidden territories.

about the invis walls, I think a better way to achieve that would be to just place walls that prevent the player from going OOB instead of just placing em around the edges of the hills/mountains, it would feel a little bit more organic that way I guess?

tbf vanilla moons are entirely invalidated by the jetpack
vanilla tends to just not care or consider this much of an issue
if you get high enough up they cant see you and will leave

well, artifice has warehouses you can hide in, same with rend; they're used in this same way and I would say take a lot less skill

generally a really easy way to cut down on stuff is to go into the assetbundle browser, sort by size and try to compress, replace or remove anything that's at or near the top of the list

unity terrain is based on heightmaps, it doesn't support things that take multiple layers like caves and overhangs

i dont believe so, but i decided to release it since that prob wasnt gonna lower the file size by much
and i wanted to get it out for everyone
Oh forsure there's an infinite amount of improvement any moon can have dw
but that one should be fairly noticable in the context of optimisation
worth keeping in mind there's kind of two filesizes that matter
one is the filesize of the bundles, because that's how much idle space your mod will take up + how big the download is
the second is the decompressed filesize of the bundle, which is a lot bigger and matters because of how much ram your moon will actively consume
in theory at runtime this would be taking up 80mb more than it needs to
fairly small sauce in the grand scheme of how much ram people have nowadays but pretty big in comparison to how much your moon takes up intentionally
