Thank you :) people have been making me disappointed as I haven't seen modders be interested in this or that.

@fierce cypress
you think you can make it
(ik your probably busy but thinking if its a possibile for your level of knowledge)
I mean I could and would love to but I’m working on a couple other projects right now
In about two or three months I’m releasing my mod and then I might be able to start on another project
Aww :(
@fierce cypress I got a good joke,
I can finally become a doctor!
in lethal company

I do wonder how many parts of LC have to be patched in order to just detect where you've been hit
Oh boy... now that's a big question @quiet tinsel...
😓
my guess is rng
Please help me get a modder working on it!!! Do me a favor and click the 🤩 to help me or any one else who is interested to work on this.

stop
not against the rules no?
I can see all the messages you deleted. You are basically spamming at this point
Alright fine.
I'll bump once a day to make you happy if that's okay. :D (without deleting if you want an explanation why I keep bumping, I can't code unfortunately as it's hard for me to remember about coding so I bump waiting for my idea to be heard out)
People have the capability to scroll yknow? Your idea doesn’t have to be at the top of the recently active listing constantly
In two days then to make it fair.
:)

I hope evertime you say bump, the chances of your idea becoming a mod decreases by 10 percent
okay.

I like the idea, however I do not feel like it fits the simplicity of the lethal company gameplay loop. The best most fitting place for a system like this is as part of a separate gamemode like infected company, and every source of damage would have to be patched. Enemies and traps would have to be nerfed to not instakill for this to be useful. And even if you don't nerf instakill sources of damage, modders would have to basically make a whole new skeleton on top of the player character so you can localize damage, somehow make a UI or interactable spots on the player.
Hitboxes for every enemy that does not instakill would probably have to be changed and enemies would have to be changed to actually target locations on the player and not just do damage on collision.
We have mods that add ways to heal, and we have mods with status effects like diversity.
Ehhh, fair answer this is just as in another way such as getting sicknesses, type of injury disease etc etc etc.

I think he’s finally left also here’s my opinion on the mod:
with how the games coded this isn’t feasible to the extent wanted but it could use a theoretical damage system where the creatures damage you based on the probability that they could hit you there. Such as a thumper having a 90% chance of leg damage. This mod I don’t think really fits with lethal companies style or game flow and would be a very situational mod for only a small community.
I left because I notice that most of the modder's I'm seeing aren't "mainly" reading suggestions (meaning other people's suggestions etc etc) or even thinking about it so I kind of left it alone all my suggestions.
Another thing to add is:
Lethal Company modding might be dead completely
I don't think modders taking free time out of their day to make your idea equates to the modding community being dead. This is a common case in many many many modding communities, because its free work and people could do a lot more with their time. If modders don't want to do it, that means they don't see the value in the idea and you either have to A) change the way you pitch a mod idea or B) make the mod yourself! And most importantly of all: Bumping every single day doesn't change anything! Infact it makes people less enticed to work with your idea since they see the relentless pestering for the idea to be a huge red flag!
I see why and that's fair, I'll be honest I bumped it just to at least get people out there to hear out the post and at least give a few suggestions in and out to tell, "Well what's wrong with this? What else could be improved?" But I stopped bumping as I realized, I could care less about this post as of course, I'd see two things, 1. It's not gonna be made. 2. Try to make it. No can do as I've tried to code before but couldn't remember a single damn thing. So that's all I have to say. 🤷
