The jar of tar scrap:
A rare and highly valuable piece of scrap, that's very delicate.
It can only be found deep in facilities, and only one can ever spawn.
While holding it anytime you jump, run, drop, and select it, there will be a small chance for it to shatter.
All that's left is a bunch of glass shards in a puddle of tar.
The Tar enemy:
Only spawns once the jar has shattered, however it is random when it will come out.
Nothing can stop it from reaching you indoors.
Behavior:
It will randomly spawn in front of its target, always appearing by coming through a wall in front of its target player.
It will go through any surface, including floors, to cut off their target. Always choosing the best route to interrupt their escape.
After enough time if the player hasn't been caught yet, The Tar would despawn back into its passive phase, moving on to the next living player to target and randomly start chasing.
As the day continues, the Tar will increasingly get faster. If it reaches a player, it will ingulf the player in tar as it slowly sinks them into the ground. This can thankfully be interrupted by teleportation or interrupting the enemy.
The Tar can be slowed down by shotgun shots or mine explosions, forcing it to rebuild itself for a small period of time before continuing chase, and partially stunned when flashbanged. Note that no other weapon works against them, and they can only be slowed down.
If anyone that isn't a target, gets too close or interrupt them, it will switch targets and go after that player.
The best way to outrun the monster is to always try to mixup where you are running as it needs to redirect itself into the best way to cut you off. Just stall long enough for it to return to its passive state. Note that this will get harder and harder to do as the day continues, since it will gradually get faster with each chase.
Lore:
Its origins are unknown, however its noted that it partially resembles an employee.
