Did a lil playtest with some friends, it went very well, had lots of fun!
These are my lil notes:
- ||Seems that visiting Oxyde from Day 1 (via unlocking it on a previous run) desyncs the day counter, where when you go into orbit, it technically doesn't count as a day, as you still have 3 days left remaining on the monitor, but the actual "Day" counter increases. So, in summary to replicate it, you unlock Oxyde, wipe, visit Oxyde at the start of a new quota, we then tried to shoplift and got killed, and then in orbit the day counter goes from Day 1 --> Day 2, but it remains as 2 Days Remaining. Seems to just be a visual bug.||
- How are you supposed to add ||Snailcat|| to a moon? I noticed there is 2 items registered and 1 entity with the name, so i wasn't sure since the Maneater for example is both an enemy and an item, but you only add the enemy to the spawn pools
- Seems that...whilst holding ||Snailcat||, it continuously pushes you very very slightly? At least whilst looking down. Could be a ModelReplacementAPI thing? Perhaps because its an entity + item at the same time or something
- From my tests, it seems that your weather spawn multipliers for creatures DOES work with LQ, which is really neat. I would love if through CodeRebirthLib or something we could pass any entity name + weather multipliers through to modify their spawn rates based on weather. I think CentralConfig has that but

For the last point I'd really need to be convinced and at most it'd only be implemented for vanilla enemies, mostly because if LLL enemies ever get anything more than "spawn weight set at beginning of game" then it might just stop working for LLL enemies
Assuming LLL only messes with LLL enemies but I think that's a normal assumption

I'm doing the Reserved Custom Position compat with te update, and found out that

||there is but its hard to reach that limit because enemies continuously kill eachother and pile up, your best bet is shredding everything immediately and waiting for everything to be shredded before comapcting it all at once, then using some shortcuts to get around to the sell cannnon, sell and leave immedaitely, delegating tasks to different people helps too||

how difficult is it to make an enemy with coderebirthlib compared to lethallevelloader? for lll you just need an extended thing to go along with an enemy's enemytype and prefab
basically the same difficulty in that sense
in CRLib I make a CREnemyDefinition to store enemy information like the enemytype, and enemytype stores the prefab
all this would be in one bundle
then there's the Content Container which contains the info about the assetbundles and whatnot, and if its a no-code mod you'd have to also include a Mod Information thing, and those two would be in their own bundle with .crmod extension
kind of a very similar workflow to LLL

Looking at CRLib's map objects and their OutsideSpawnMechanics, seems like it has properties for curves on all moons, vanilla, custom, and overrides for specific ones, is there a way I can just find out what it has on Experimentation or any other moon without having to pretty much figure it out myself from those properties?

This has to be some sort of mod incompatibility but I can't figure out what it is, weapons from this mod can't hit any monsters for me
Another weird thing involves the monster infighting, seems to be that vanilla monsters can damage coderebirth monsters, but not the other way around. I thought the culprit would be the mod "EverythingCanDieAlt", but these things still happen even with that mod disabled.

Imperium breaks base game sometimes too. I remember it messing up cruiser deliveries for a hot minute. Still might if you try to order one normally off the monitor. Drove me insane when trying you test a modpack to see why cruisers couldn't be bought only to find out Imperium was doing it while I had it installed for testing.

The outside hazard mod allowed them to spawn outside and they worked fine, but there was no way to configure which ones spawned and how often

|| It's not the time I'm concerned of, it's the option that is there. For me, it feels like the moon needs to cost a day to balance all of this out or just something. If the option to abuse is there, someone will want to. For a modpack that is focused on trying not to have that, it's an issue. Not just for my modpack though, it's straight up infinite scrap. If you die, it doesn't count as a day and you can just go back and repeat. Not hating on the mod in the slightest, just the hour or so I played last night, that seems like an abusable tactic. Though I might've missed something so that's why I asking||

My guess is the game doesn't fire you if you still have scrap in the game but I was never interested in reading that part of the code
And while I was personally against this when rodrigo proposed this, they're rare enough and in spots that are pretty hard to find (except the cabin spawns) so I think it's fine
Though, admittedly i do think its a lil counterintuitive to try and balance stuff like Gals better to not be as op and such, but then allow those kinds of things

There was a time coins were about 3x to 5x harder to find, the idea at the time was to give the player the ability to find some of those special items very very rarely naturally in some hidden spots

are all the entities that this mod adds spawning independently from the enemy lists configured in the web ui of lethalquantities? i havent added any of the entities in LQ but ive seen that the microwave cart still spawns.
Microwave is an inside hazard, LQ might call it a map object

I got ejected from ||oxyde|| as well. yesterday we didn't have any scrap on the ship because sometimes we all died and it took our items after entering orbit and we didn't get ejected
