I haven’t seen the code (the code that’s being rebirthed) but I think on the backend it’s pretty independent, which is why you can disable stuff. It’s more so the pain of maintaining and updating a bunch of smaller mods. I could be misremembering but I think that’s a reason the devs gave. I know it’s kind of something I ran into with my moon making and why initially they were all bundled in one pack instead of Individually.
