You've given me an idea for a drawing that I'm probably not gonna do:
Where is armor model 
theres problems with the soccer balls code though
what it does is, on collision to be kicked, it checks how much distance it can travel in a straight line with no obstructions, then teleports to that spot, the animation is just visual, and its very easy to see it "glitch", even though its not actually a glitch to watch it phase through the ground at a hill for example
this is annoying for the soccer ball, but having it on something that actively can cause you to die, is like x10 worse
its very easy for it to get stuck inside a wall, and a monster for it to just keep it locked in place and constantly damage you
didnt even realise the football teleports on hit, i dont do that lol
no it wouldnt go through a wall, it just would get stuck in place
and yeah it's priority is navmesh so no wall stuff, if its inside a wall complain to the interior creator on why they allowed navmesh there
if its stuck in a spot, im gonna guess you're playing on toystore, blame wesley

it makes sense for the puppet, the ball would need to bounce properly around walls but the puppet bouncing from a wall hit dont make too much sense

what im getting at is if the puppet gets into a similar position as the soccer ball can, where it can be constantly pushed without its collision detector moving away

I was thinking about pipes in factory interior, like can it be that they have some navmesh? And it would cause puppets to stuck

I had a dumb one recently. A stationary crane but it can spin and if you walk under it it can pick you up and then drop you. It's like the tulip snakes but whereas they can sometimes help, this is just annoying area denial

Thanks! Maybe depending on its speed or something it could work so you can dodge it. I kind of wonder about its spawning, like if it's close to a wall and the arm clips through a lot when it turns or something. Never really put too much thought into it.

I'm always a big fan of risk/reward stuff, as well as hazards you can use to get another enemy killed if you do stuff properly
So perhaps something that will kill players that come into contact with it, but can be altered to then target enemies instead
E.g. some kind of turret or sentry post that targets players, but if you sneak up to it, you're able to mess with it, and either disable it (pulling out a battery that you can sell??), or swap it to target enemies instead (temporarily or for the rest of the moon)
Rather than just locking on instantly like an AC unit, give it a searchlight that spins around that you can avoid by timing when you enter line of sight. Also synergises will with other stuff like Dogs (because you dont wanna sprint near them ofc), or bear traps that get you caught out in the open.
Design wise it would be fairly straightforward, most people are familiar with guard towers and stuff from stealth games, the searchlight trope. The use of sound effects and a clear light should help enforce it so it doesnt just randomly kill people
In terms of balance, i would say use Beehive sell value as a ref, and also probably make sure this thing doesnt spawn right next to the ship or entrances so its not too annoying.
Thematically, it does not need to be a turret either. You could go silly and make it some kind of weird plant thing, a stationary robot, eldritch creature, doesnt really matter.

Usually one of these robots would be incinerated after a year of use. I guess its easier to make new ones from cheaper parts then higher tech robots. Despite all odds some units remain operational and cause chaos for scrap collection. Analysis of a transporters signal output shows that everything it does is rewarded by its learning program. In short, it thinks its doing good.

It would naturally be easier to deal with on forested moons or ones with alot of cover, and harder to deal with on moons with more open areas, as well as being smaller
But again, if its searchlight is limited in an area around it, it can be made not too oppressive
The risk/reward relationship with it means players will want to interact with it rather than finding it annoying and just trying to avoid it, if its A) reasonably profitable and B) can be used to harm other enemies

yeah there's an event for the code getting called and an event for when the cooldown is reached. So if yall have methods for disabling/enabling the hazards it should be fairly easy

- Damage fix for janitor when you hit him.
- Extra fix for dropping stuff infront of janitor while he's grabbing an item.
- Added cleaning drone gal.
- Improved pathfinding completely in all CodeRebirth entities, this makes them able to fluidly use all fire exits, entrances, anything they need to reach you no matter where you are, should preform better than usual too (added a dependency to help since it'd be too much to include it into coderebirth itself).
- Hazards despawn if they spawn on top of doors.
- New weight defaults for manor lord, redwood titan and janitor.
- Did some fixing with tesla shock.
- Redid the tornado visuals entirely.
- Rewrote a lot of the code for tornados and meteor shower, let me know if anything breaks.
- Removed a meh performance thingy when you leave a moon for the crates and biomes.
- Crates opened by terminal gal should be sync'd with everyone.
- Fixed abuse of puppeteer's on hit animation.
- Probably fixed laser turret desync, let me know if i have not.
- Fixed bug with SCP 999 gal reviving body-less dead bodies and reviving more people than it should be able to via group revives.
- Fixed global duck song not playing.
- Can now store all the furniture like the gals etc.
- Changed layer of spike trap to be the maphazards layer (thanks zeekerss).

Your crash dump can be found in %tempt% --> ZeekerssRBLX --> Just keep going --> selection of folders with different dates --> pick the one that matches the time and date and send everything there

@wise stag would you recommend using PathfindingLib for any enemy? I was looking at using it for my Gargoyle.
It takes a bit of figuring out how to use jobs properly and how to use it properly if you wanna use pathfindinglib as it's currently a more barebones implementation in what you want in terms of the lib by itself
Plus the main positive of it is this: I can freely calculate all the pathing I want without affecting performance
Which is why I'm allowed to constantly calculate 17 paths for each of my entities to a potential destination, because I want those entities to be able to do things like using entrances and fire exits freely
17 paths in the scenario of a moon like march where there's 3 fire exits
You'd have 16 calculations as I'm calculating the path between agent to entrance and entrance to destination for each entrance, then another path between agent and destination, and picking the valid one
Basically, it depends what you want type thing
At some point
I can tell you wallet is getting revisited and a lot more fleshed out

This is a major plus. I've noticed my Gargoyle can cause some lag. It could be bad coding on my part, since I'm pretty new to it all. But I do have pathfinding that is calculating a ton of paths to get around the player and try to dynamically stay behind them in certain situations. So I thought that might be the cause of the lag. If I can move all those calculations off the main thread I wonder if that would cure it.

If you're finding yourself calculating a lot of paths you'll want that then yeah, if you can kind of understand what I'm doing I can point you to the code where I implement pathfindinglib's stuff onto my entities

Just make sure you do use pathfindinglib though, it has important navmesh stuff patched that gets some stuff temporarily locked iirc to avoid unity crashing because this is a kind of abandoned experimental api
The job stuff would've been entirely in coderebirth but to keep that important stuff in one place it was important to make a lib lol
I'm very happy a lib was made. I don't understand that stuff at the moment, and it will be awesome to benefit from it. Gonna get started, wish me luck haha.

and the hazards spawn using that graph
