I have found that removing the wallet from the store bugs out buying items from LethalThings, it shifts the IDs or whatever so when i bought a remote radar i got a utility belt instead etc.
It only happens when the Wallet is disabled, enabling it again fixes it
so for now i will just set the price rly high or something

But the wallet being disabled doesn't affect other items right? I'm convinced this is just a problem with lethal things since it's already buggy and hasn't been updated in 3 months
That would explain why utility belts keep coming out of crates in this mod despite me disabling those in lethal things, cause I also have the wallet disabled.
I believe this only affects lethal things, all other items are fine

I think those are just coded to spawn in crates anyways? along with all the other gear?
i dont remember if there is a config to specify what can spawn in it
basically if an item is incorrectly removed from teh shop it can still spawn in the crates
and LL has a method to remove store items, but it doesnt remove them from the list that i use for the crates, which is the buyableItemsList

Dunno if you wanna factor this in or not, but the crates that give you scrap also dont respect the whole "Single scrap day" thing. You'll get the same scrap in the facility but crates will pull from the normal pool.
I am unsure if crates are also affected by Registry's weather multipliers or not, havent rly tested or noticed yet
for the wallet i just literally dont even register it lol

I also don't think crate loot respects other things like value multipliers in the event you have mods that alter scrap value based on weather, but again, that's probably a whole bunch of other layers of code that your mod doesn't really account for.

just tested it myself, i can confirm having the wallet enabled fixes lethalthings items from delivering the wrong one
i also tried removing other lethalthings items to see if it would fix it, but that didn't affect it

yea i'm not entirely sure why it does that. i don't know how store entries are added but is it possible that it's still loading the entry for the item but not any other details like name? so it pushes down other entries without appearing? sorry if i don't get it at all lol
Basically when something gets removed from the store, it gets removed from the terminal etc except it doesn't get removed from the list that determines if something is buyable lol

Just to give more information about each choice, currently she is developed to path through main entrance and then path to you if you're inside, she could be stopped by locked doors if they're in thr way, and she won't go through a fire exit if you go through one/come out of one
Clownhorn fish teleports to the player when they go through entrances, which means it will always be with you but can be a bit immersion breaking according to xu. The other option is it only following through main meaning it has to go all the way aroubd and can get stuck whennyou go through fire.
The other problem with fire is that there's gonna be a bunch of teleporting, on like, assurance, if you come out fire exit, that's one teleport, then go down onto the ground, that's another trleport
And this is the issue me and Rodriguez have been on and on about for weeks
I personally think that since shes a combat and item carryer she should tp if stuck so she is always with you

Xu sees it more as an entity which means she has to walk everywhere, which can lead to pathing issues and her not being with the player when they use fire exit. I see it as a companion that tps to you when she cant path so she is alwaysbwith the followed player. Which can be obstructive and immersion breaking.
I just think doing it like the clownhorn fish with some tweaks because of her size would work perfectly
No it is a lot more reliable than messing with fire exits and a path of teleporting
She WILL randomly teleport to you even if there's a solid path sometimes

Clownhorn fish too small, barely noticeable when it teleports around and bugs with it etc
I personally dint mind the robot teleporting to you through fire like next to you instead of directly in you, but your pathing means she has to run from main to fire which is goofy and frankly sucks
I think it makes a lot more sense, it IS more stable, it won't just glitch out randomly, and it'll be less of a heavy both visual and ingame obstruction to the gameplay if it's not constantly in your and other peoples faces if roams the environment and uses proper channels to reach the player

Like the only issue with tpying is the occasional teleport when she cant reach you on or near navmesh. Otherwise through doors you dont notice it and when the ship leaves you just deactivate her tpying so it doesnt bug out like clownhorn fish
But the pros is that she'll follow you through fire and be able to join you almost anywhere

I think the powerful companion sounds cool and kinda unique, but also so strong if it was me personally i would disable it in my pack cuz it sounds a bit too much

Basically if u give her 4 items, she'll automatically go back to the ship, drop off the items, and come back to you
(You still need to grab and drop those items once though I think)
And u can interact with her chest to make her drop the items too

The 4 items limit changes if you're playing multiplayer, it turns into 2 items for fairness

I mean for day 1 with little multiplayer testing thats pretty impressive if anything that there isnt any major issues
Clients not being able to activate the drone is obvs an oopsie but likely a quick fix compared to all the other stuff thats managed to get working
I havent rly experienced any other multiplayer related issues with the mod, just the stuff with the crates that just got fixed
Make sure when you reload a lobby the mod doesn't error on the clients' end
That was a common issue with the previous version
And it would break quite a few things for clients

I would also say with a mod, the release kinda is gonna be the bulk of the testing anyways
its free at the end of the day, nobody is like buying it and getting scammed with bugs day 1 like a AAA game

Guys two problems that i got with the Gal the first is that it does weight on the cruiser and one time got stucked inside of it the second is that only the host can activate it

Making a blacklist makes way more sense imo since metal crates will spawn items even when disabled from the shop.

Honestly confused to why there would even be a white list unless trying to put shop items in wood crates. Which then defeats the whole purpose of two different versions.
Black list is just way better as it allows for better balancing imo
if empty, whitelist doesnt do anything, but if not, whitelist only spawns the items that are both scrap and in the whitelist if that makes sense

Cool. That works. But for clients the plant does disappear and the pot looks empty. Fine for host and still works as intended.
Let me word it better.. after collecting tomatoes the green plant vanishes for clients. Plant still works though for host just fine. Seems more a visual bug here.
