no sounds would at least be consistent across an entire play session, since it uses those from its static prefab, so if it's inconsistent within one play session I'd be flabbergasted lol

Howdy! Just wanted to share a small mod incompatibility I've discovered. When using this mod + Furniture Lock by matty, it prevents a config that allows automatically storing furniture to apply. In the example provided, I set up for the bunk beds and file cabinet to be stored by Furniture Lock. In the logs, it errors out when reaching that step and in-game, the file cabinet and bed stay out. Here's the code with both mods set up to reproduce the issue, and the log.

v70 update
I am aware of one minor bug for this mod in terms of the update to v70:

A few of the game's vanilla models seem to have gotten minor changes, which leads GoldScrap to think they are modded models, and thus ignores them and uses custom back-up models instead. This only happens for 4 items, and everything else (all other item models and all other functionality) seems to work fine still, so I'll be working on them starting tomorrow, just to have a free day today.

In case anyone happens to find other incompatibility issues/bugs/errors, feel free to of course share them here.

v2.2.3 will be going online in a little bit, addressing the issue above as well as one other bug I found during testing

the process of exporting the unity project to v70 was rough tho, so mayyybe there's some new bugs as well, I tried triple-checking everything to make sure it works, but can't say for certain until we actually find a bug
but it should hopefully be fine

oh yeah it should also be backwards compatible, so people playing on the previous-branch on steam should also be able to play using v2.2.3 (and hopefully future updates of this mod)

so, big surprise, the item values in lethal are determined by 🌈 RNG ✨, and they will always be between the minimum and maximum value that are just hard-coded into the game (and can be tweaked by mods)

so the bolt's always 20 or higher but can never surpass 32 blablabla

the min and max value multiplier take these original two numbers, and multiply them by whatever you set in the configs, so if they're 2 for example, then the gold version of the bolt is worth 40 or higher but can never surpass 64

and finally THIS, this is actually a bit of game design trickery I thought of
since gold scrap is so rare I thought it would be lame if you finally found one and it was worth very little (like for example you find the bolt but the min multiplier is 2 so maybe it's only worth 40, less than even normal axles)

so I made the minimum multiplier higher so gold items are in general guaranteed to be worth much more than the original, but can't be some insane high value, because the max value stops it from getting too high

@velvet saffron , I noticed a bug with your mod, any time I try to pick up the golden bell it bugs out and I can't pickup and drop a anything, also can't exit the facility, It has happened twice so far but both times I grabbed the golden bell,

one of my friends complained about the golden girl tonight, they found one worth over $1000 and they dropped it to pick something up, and it phased through the floor. i'm assuming this is intended?

ah, no worries about the ping

the gold texture itself that's on all items was actually the easiest, that was just a basic Unity 3D HD Render Pipeline project (something like LC Project Patcher or LethalLib might tell you to use), and then I right-clicked in-engine to create a new Material, made it kind of yellow, and then just turned up the Metallic and Smoothness sliders to make it look shiny. that's it lol

so that's normal gold scrap; for the more complicated store item textures I also had to learn how to put textures on the different sides of the models correctly by learning something called UV Mapping, which basically requires you to have access to the model in software like Blender, and then assign the different sides of the model to different area's of a texture/image/jpg/png

I could go on and on about what I learned about Blender, but just to make sure, does my explanation of basic Unity textures (like gold scrap) already answer your question? or were you thinking more about the complicated textures you put on different parts of the item (like the golden ticket)?

yeah, I've been wanting to add that (plus a few other things) since like april or something
I just got too busy with work, and then had to send my computer out for repair, which had all my mods + ideas on there

it's been at the repair place for like 3 months tho and it's getting frustrating, so I'm thinking I'll try to do some more updates on this crappy set-up I have now, starting in a few weeks

TLDR yes there will be more configs, settings, updates following this v73 patch; I just wish I had a better pc to do it on :/

I have learnt my lesson from trying to let asus repair a laptop that it is not only cheaper to do it myself but also 10000x faster than anything like that. But this also requires the unemployed status 👍 so understandable not everyone has time or even wants to try to deal with electronics

last I heard they were even replacing the whole motherboard

I would like to modify the functions of Gold Scraps (daily increase in gold ore, clown increase, etc.). Would it be okay if I created an addon for this mod or made a KR version? I really love the mechanics of the Scraps and use this mod frequently, but it is a bit of a shame that I cannot customize them.
