i kinda think the mobile turret could be worked on, maybe animations or an improved model i suppose, it works fine just feels a tiny bit jank sometimes lol. also i think its damage is too large compared to where the bullets are visually shooting, you can be visually out of its line of fire and still be shot
i actually liked when the mobile turret had the red laser always visible despite it being a bug, maybe that can be made into a feature as an option or something

being always visable was a feature it was just removed in favor of giving it a proper laser

The nefarious coil head:

the coil-heads may not have hands but they do have trouble opening doors so it makes sense
It makes sense for both entities to open doors
The drones could nudge the doorās knob a bit with one of their legs, and the turret could do it with their barrel
Considering their jobs, I wouldnāt be surprised if they were canonically programmed to do stuff like that

If mobile turrets could get that reverb effect on their shooting like normal turrets to make sure the fired rounds always have a sound cue, that'd be pretty great. Otherwise, any interior rooms or labyrinth stretches that are long enough to allow this (which is plenty of them on vanilla facility at least) could cause the player to take damage from an attack, promptly run in a random direction out of panic, and genuinely never realize it was from a mobile turret that had spotted them and instead think there's some crazy glitch or mod conflict going on.

i have a problem with this mod
idk how to explain it
but everytime a cleaning drone spawns my game starts having some serious constant lag spikes
at first i thought it was smth with LQ, bc everytime i disabled that mod it worked great, but when enabled it didnt work
i had to use the console and noticed everytime a cleaning drone spawned the lag started
so i tried disabling moonswept and it also worked
so idk
i really like the cleaning drone

is moonswept abandoned?

been testing a lot of things and just finished making all the config for LQ, but when i tried it the lag spikes started, i tried disabling both of them and the both made the lag spikes dissapear
tried making a new profile with just the 2 of them and it doesnt happen, or at least i didnt notice a lag spike that big

All I think is that the mobile turretās player parenting should be removed, then itās solid
Itās really annoying getting swung around after trying to jump over a mobile turret thatās strafing around a corner

im using a lot of interiors yes, but it also happens with vanilla interiors, it mostly happens when using LQ and all the other mods i have

I use all of these, two of which being archaic as fuck, with no lag spikes from either entity
it could be, the thing is that it doesnt happen without LQ, only when is enabled
and i had the lag spikes in almost all interiors
my theory is that there is another mod also contributing to the lag spikes bc using only LQ and moonswept doesnt lag spike

I should probably examine and report this in the proper thread, but here's a shot in the dark @timber barn : I was experiencing lag spikes with Imperium enabled, mainly when enemies spawned in, but it would gradually get worse; only noticed it after disabling it. So if you've Imperium installed and enabled, see if disabling changes anything?
Ohhh this pack is the only one i havent installed imperium for that exact reason, i know imperium is very buggy so ive used other methods to test things on my main pack, even with imperium, moonswept and LQ at the same time i didnt have the lag spikes so i dont think is imperium in this case
