also considering i've spent the last 11 hours working on fixing coderebirth's unity/code when its in an honestly abandonable state because of damages done by a random seemingly unity bug, i feel like i really dont care to maintain/upload this mod, if someone wants to take it off my hands i can talk to the person that helped me write it and hand it off, but i've been modding this game for hours everyday for months, nearly a year now, with some help here and there, but majorly alone, and I do commissions, my own mods, help other peoples mods when i see smthn i can help with like enemies, items, weathers, unlockables, literally most content based stuff, i've written guides, tutorials and shot videos.

point is i've done a lot, and it's given me the position to not care about one slightly anticipated mod that I simply don't really think I'd like to add to my plate

would it be possible for it to be released as it is (in whatever state it may be) but then someone can just fork the mod and maintain it that way so it's not just lost to time and so there's no burden to maintain it with a dedicated mod team or anything like that, i feel like that would be a good approach that could satisfy everyone involved, seeing how so many people want something like this, might as well let anyone with the right passion and energy to handle the rest of it
