#Downloading mods from the host

Probably not safe because someone could upload malware and try to get people to download it before it's removed. It'd be better to just have a mod that tells you what packages you are missing so you could go look yourself
or just make a whitelist for certian mods
or for the most mods
Then at that point if the mod isn't on the whitelist, you'd download and incomplete pack and still not know what you're missing
Since not being on the whitelist doesn't necessarily mean it's unsafe
Then display what mods are missing. You will be able to download them manually but at your own risk
That was what I had suggested
how about a thing where it first shows you all the mods the person is playing with and then you decide to join afterwords
Hey now, that'd be rad. So you don't even have to attempt to join to get the list, you can just write it down from the lobby select or find a new one
wouldn't change anything since it could be spoofed by the host or the host could have a malicious mod, plus the host would also need the mod anyway
lethal mod manager is perfect for u, its still in wip
oh, misunderstood that suggestion
Also, a whitelist could probably be abused too. If the whitelist goes by mod name or whatever, someone could just steal another popular mod name that IS on the whitelist
I didn't expect such a broad conversation on this topic
