A mod that makes it so the bracken will occasionally spare you, but still bring you back to its room.
The bracken will blind you while carrying you and force you to drop your items, so when you wake up in the room you're entirely on your own in the depths of the dungeon.
Being dragged mutes you too and doesn't have the neck snap sound so it's stealthy.
Could also make it so the bracken makes you unable to be teleported, so you can't just be teleported back to the ship.

You can set it to hang on to a player basically indefinitely if you want, though if you do that for solo it still means a restart bc nobody can bonk it and rescue you
