This idea is based on a glitch ive seen on youtube videos a couple times. Imagine your crew loads into the moon and you all go inside, The facility layout would be different for each person like a desync issue but on purpose. Rather than be garunteed make it a variable chance to occur. Imagine the confusion as you walk through a door but somebody else sees you walk through a wall.

This idea can be developed in an interesting gameplay plan, and in general it reminds me of the game Bokura, it sounds interesting
you know i compeletly forgot about that game as well
if it was made it would definitely make map readouts hell for anybody watching on the ship
Maybe if you make a different map structure when switching between players on the monitor to see what everyone sees, and then coordinate all actions together
i think it would be more fun to have that as an option to be configurable
like "Monitor shows current player's map" or something

otherwise just black around them

However, then it would destroy the whole point of sitting in the ship
maybe add a turret name readout when they are scanned so the info can be relayed to get it temporarily disabled
There is already such a mod here, by the way, but still, for the person who stays on the terminal, the game will be super boring

hmm showing the current map for the viewed player would make sense to be enabled by default then
monsters could follow the layout they spawn in until they reach the main entrance and then follow their current targets layout for any new pathing?
I think it would be cool to do some things that will synchronize between layouts of all people, monsters, objects, hazards or I do not know
im on board with that idea.
lethal things compatibility would be interesting as well. teleport trap sending somebody on their own layout to another persons would be kinda wild

obviously it would need to keep things to the same dungeon pool for simplicity tho
no loading a mansion for one person and facility for everybody else
altho that would be pretty interesting to see one person freaking out about seeing a mansion and nobody else seeing it
Imagine if moving to another version of the interior would happen at random moments, and the models of other players would be replaced by models of monsters
Like, you go into the same standard option 3 times, and the fourth time you get into a second one

Although it sounds quite broken and cursed, but the first impression of such a thing could lead to quite strong impressions
actually that sounds kinda cool
inside the facility the other players are the monsters
along with the actual monsters
pair that with the skinwalker mod and chaos
