at the lowest areas is a frozen lake. there are large cracks to jump across. another part of it has a platforming section.
for fauna, could go with dogs like everyone else

and if you walk beneath them, they can drop icicles

I think even on one of my snow moons, Tundaria, I use some of the Rend/Dine info. I don’t know, only so much you can say about a dark blizzard moon unless you’ve got some unique element or lore in mind

What I'd love to see more with snowy moons is more mountainous ones rather than just fog and lights.
Which is why I love Motra and Filitrios and enjoy the looks of Zenit, the latter is more ice than snow and has no fog.
I know LC isn't themed around going to vacation-worthy places, but a moon based on the Alps' looks would be superb.

Hi, I use a lot of wesley's moons in my modpack as standalone moons without the "Journey" features. ||I have Empra installed but I havent visited it yet, I understand it's a ending moon or something? Does it work as standalone? It doesnt seem to have any interiors assigned to it when looking at interior weights||
how do the the ||mortar controls|| on ||Alcatras|| work? do I want to flip them all? or is there a combination of them that does something cool? i flipped all 6 and ||mortars ||would still ||shoot|| randomly
Any kind of story mode related feature is not present for standalones or if opt out from the journeys in the moonpack’s config. ||There are no interiors assigned for a reason||

also a bug my group had last week that I forgot to report and therefore don't have logs (i am dumb :3), but the ||lightswitch|| on ||Asteroid-13|| only turned the lights on for my client. everyone else was still in the dark. only happened once though, so might just be fluke.
Maybe a mod caused that? We couldnt tell without the client’s log

so wev had hte death jumpscare door in rubber rooms deactivated for a bit cus my friends found it too frustrating. but i was wondering is their a way to survive it / how? we know how to tell if a door is going to be one but if we have to go through the door is that person just screwed

No matter what the door holds you can hold e on it until it's either harmlessly open or it's tried to jumpscare and closed from you holding e
You can slam the door on it and it’ll disappear, but if you dont like it you can turn it off in its config
This probs isn't intended behaviour but since the door is client-side if you see someone else phase through a closed door that's guaranteed one of the funny ones
it is off thats how i started my message saying "its deactivated" but ya id prefer it on myself but my crew doesnt like it cus they find it a bit much to survive and random deaths arnt as fun to them if theres no counter which is why i asked

It could be, but his PC crashes even on vanilla, so I'm not sure.
To give you an idea his PC literally cannot handle Artifice. He crashes everytime while the moon loads.

I think it'd be neat if the Toy Store cake spawned loot proportional to how long you survive it, rather than 0 if you die at all during it and all of it if you survive
Most people i have seen cant do cake without some kind of cheese or cheaty mods for it
And since now you only get loot if you survive, once they know its dangerous they now dont bother with it much, so then they dont learn how to do it etc.
I think it'd be cool if you'd get rewarded for surviving a little more each time

You can tp them out but you wont get the additional loot, if you do get it - theres something wrong with the setup and it will be fixed
hello guys i have a question regarding tapes that you find as random scrap, are the tapes specific to some moons or you can find them in any moon you visit? like can i grind in one moon in hopes that i find all the video tapes there?
Tapes are just starter and ender for the story but they are mostly there to break up the roguelike adventure.
You also cant find all tapes on just one moon
i get the ones you find in the exterior are fixed, but for interior tapes they are also specific to some moons right?
Anything you find inside is rng and I would not rely on that. I mean there is a way in randomness too Wesley doesnt let every moon’s spawnpool have all the tapes on them but it’d be difficult to tell you how it is setup. I could point out some

People wanted them to be kept around, you can remove them from the spawnpools however with LLL config

you can try using another mod to config things, now I lack knowledge on this mods but I know there are a couple like Lethal Company Variables, Lethal Quantities, and Central Config

no he did a bad thing before his big update where he listed his custom scraps in his selectable level which is not a good thing, and THAT made the config generate them there but thats not how he should do it, we already went over this and all should be fixed so im guessing it could be an old config which had these in there

In the Rubber Rooms interior, ||There's a door that closes behind you and get you stuck with the apparatus is there a way to disable that? I have a mod that makes it so that you need two people to pickup the apparatus, but if the door closes behind you then you can't exit. I assume the door opens when you pick up the apparatus, but it I could not pick it up so I just got stuck :/ Or add a way to kill myself in the appartus room 😂 ||

Sorry for the delay (work). So it's an old config. I can wipe it and have it generate a new one. If his custom scraps are listed through lmps (dunno what that is), is there a way to pull/ view the spawn weights, handedness, value of all his unique scrap?
And one more follow-up, why does your LLL config file look all fancy with checkboxes and stuff?

yes theres a feature in it where you can import profiles made with r2
speakin of apparatus stuff
pulling any other apparatus before pulling the one in rubber rooms triggers the sequence before you even enter the main chamber, locking you away from it, but still forcing you to run for your life
such examples include: Cosmocos, Calist, and Dementia Demetrica
to explain in sequence:
- Step 1: Pull outdoor appy
- Step 2: Walk by the appy hall door and have it open
- Step 3: Go down the appy hall until the door opens on the other side
- Door will immediately close and start the event

You could manually remove a certain moons / interiors config settings if you open it up- it’ll get regenerated after you start the game up again
You’d need to go to the profile’s folder find the config open it up and remove those lines

Trees aren't destructible on Cubatres
They only target those who are alone
in case someone didnt answer regarding this issue. i use gale. i used to use thundstore. at one point thunderstore completely shit the bed.. so i ditched thunderstore and never looked back (as a mod manager i mean)
the reason why i ditched it, that exact issue.. one day something changed, thunderstore stopped working properly, mod profiles wouldent fully download.
I played LC with my girlfriend this week.. gave her my profile code, she insisted thunderstore works fine, refused to use gale.
she downloaded my profile code of 256 mods, thunderstore refused to give her more than 211.
my friend using gale, used the same code, got all 256.
my girlfriend then installed gale, still got 211... i gave her a new code.. 256. (same profile)
so thunderstore (and perhaps r2 too) seem to do some funky thing that breaks the profile code so no matter how many times you import, if it breaks the first time, its forever broken on that PC.

one day we landed on fission-c with blizzard, and it kept unloaded and deloading all of the snow every single frame, giving everyone 5 fps
the snowy weather seems to be incredibly unstable with wesleys moons

I think it can be eclipsed, but I'm not sure.
Makes admittedly more sense than Asteroid-13 tbh, at least Calist is in plain view of its sun. Asteroid-13 is dark by default.
asteroid-13 on eclipse has ||starfall event where sky is filled with shooting stars, so it changes the skybox at some point||

i did this earlier and it took me a moment to realize after the cruiser just needs to face straight against the wall i used the eject button at

eject button is only good for assurance and offense in vanilla
but genuinely cruiser helps on cubatres a lot if you play like this
the reason a majority dont know the eject button has any sort of use is due to how it behaves
youll take fall damage unless you land fast enough
and the thing is the calculation doesnt begin until you actually start falling i believe

but any area with a mountain or something you can land onto like this should work

I didn't see its face because I have a mod that kills the masked on spawn (yes I'm a wuss when it comes to them, they're the only enemy I'm genuinely afraid of), so it was just the legs sticking out of a vent, in the death position.

Masked are one of the few enemies with actual jumpscare potential (especially when they hide INSIDE of furniture on the ship rather than behind it and just step out of the damn terminal) and they can be quite deadly if you're alone since they can randomly decide to sprint or move erratically
I also don't like dealing with them in solo too much but I don't disable anything heh heh
Those erratic movements is part of why I'm scared of them ngl.
never got jumpscared by masked tho, that's why they're not scary to me
but yeah, without a weapon they're problematic

Bracken will just walk away if you look at it, other mobs will not instant kill you, even the Nutcracker shot can be avoided by crouching around it

If I weren't scared of the masked I'd re-enable them on Nyx, Asteroid-13 and a few other moons. I'm fine with them in multiplayer, but when I'm alone, big nope.
oh yeah the other way they will jumpscare you is by camping the main entrance without entering/leaving so they will just grab you instantly when you enter or leave
idk, I legit screamed on brackens (only when they were spotted on like 1m from me), ghost girl and blind dog for at least once
ghost girl situation was kinda funny because when I was leaving via main entrance, she just appear out of nowhere without a sound
vanilla Brackens can be scary
but we have Diversity so the Bracken went from jumpscare mob into something that will put pressure on you
One time I did get jumpscared like crazy by a bracken, in the mines, ngl.
since you know it's somewhere nearby by lights flickering and flashlight getting dimmed
I do have diversity and dimming flashlight helps to deal with them
which can be quite stressing when you have other monsters around you, especially a coilhead
mineshafts are horrifying
but the thing with the highest killcount there is probably the tunnels filled with water rather than a monster

I love serene-looking snowy moons like Snowichi and Filitrios.
Granted in the latter the serenity stops at the entrance, but the exterior is still very calming.

I made a buddy of mine play through the first few moons of the journey.
We had a blast, he loves it.
(There were five coilheads at this exit in total. Three on the side I was watching and one (then another) on the left, watched by my buddy).
We somehow both survived. Thank God coilheads don't technically instakill.
He got to ward off some masked with a stun baton while I was keeping a coilhead at bay.
Locker, rolling giant, 096, faceless stalker, shockwave drone, cleaning drone, country road creature, the diversity mod makes cosmocos even more scary, giantspecimens(althougg you would have to edit them vause in some moons they bugged out), welp at least those are the ones that i have tried with the moons

Hey i also have a question on how to get some of the Wesley's moons, idk if this is a spoiler so i will put it like a spoiler but with a friend we finally got the ||3 moons with the special apparatus, we haven't gotten the 3 apparatus yet|| but looking in the thunderstore we have seen that we are still missing like 7 moons to explore yet, so idk if those are unlocked after ||we put the apparatus ( i still don't know what happens)|| or if you can get to them in other ways, we have found some videotapes as scrap for some of them but i want to know if there is another way of getting them

There are several moons not required at all progression-wise. They can be unlocked in succession but won't yield a story-apparatus.||

And ||Desolation|| has two methods of being found, one of them involving random scrap and the other a weather event.

I know you can enter the foggy cells, but they never lead there.
It Is so confusing, i get lost so easily in it and thefake exit almost always gets me killed
Speaking about that i found a bug playing the interior with lategame upgrades running shoes, you can get to the fire exit before it reaches the end and if you exit while is moving you get sent out of bounds and die
I think that happens without the lgu upgrade. I made sure to have full stam and no items and went in and was where you mentioned. I made it and fell throught the map. I think it's just a rubber rooms problem atm

My favorites Locker the best modded enemy though it can bug in the armory interior, rolling giant with his unpredictability and sounds makes it super scary, the diversity mod to enhance the bracken and giant specimens is excellent just that they can spawn in some bugged areas, but if edit the moons it should be good

Lore-wise it sneaking up on you undetected leads it to forego all stealth and jump you, since you're oblivious to it.
