I can testify to this. The CIDOM Metro is amazing. Somehow the linear layout makes it ideal enough to gauge how far you're getting in and how much scrap you got til you've emptied the map.

when was the last time you tried it? I gave it a try on 0.0.1 and also felt the navmeshes were weird, but after trying out 0.0.4 today it doesn't seem to be problematic as much anymore

Because I’m probably gonna make my own and was trying to gauge how much of a time commitment it is

And it took a month for v1 storehouse
But I’m in school
V1 being the most barebones shit
It took another month or two of constant working for the recent update with the server room and elevator shaft
I’d say it’s fun
But it’s definitely a time sink
im curious, what part of it is the biggest time sink? like getting/making assets or designing tiles or getting everything to work properly without issues or whatever else there is
I for the most part just use vanilla assets but that could be a while if you’re making your own. Depending on the design tiles could be a lot of copy and paste by sort of standardizing pieces. Like my floor is a prefab, a solid wall’s a prefab, a wall with a doorway cut in is a prefab, etc and so I can kind of just stick them together. Even though each room has similar parts there are still things to be done so it’s not 100% the same. At the moment I’m needing to tackle tile weights (how common rooms are) and perhaps size stuff which is probably the least fun part.
Mostly designing the actual tiles but thinking about what to do also takes a while
Also if you want to do a gimmick or something stupid that takes a lot of time
Like I designed and animated two elevators falling for my interior and it was a lot of time
I have a decent idea for what I want my tiles to be
im probably gonna design a bunch of props and wall / floor tiles so I can throw things together

all of poolrooms assets are open source, i have access to the dungeon's project file. i can change anything i want regarding it and repackage it as an update

A lot of Lethal models do. If you are crouched below a walking Jester from behind you can even see a big part of the left leg "skin' stretch each time it takes a step forward because it's somehow attached to the box like a string.

- Building wouldnt work or do anything so I realized I had to install something extra to make it build
- Then building the unity project would crash unity
- It required a recompile and I am on linux and Visual studio doesnt work so I had to install dotnet on my vs code but for some reason it was not properly detecting or installing it but eventually I got it to work
- The thing im compiling was made for windows so I had to rewrite a few shortcuts it had to make it work on linux
- Putting the dll in my mods and it would say it would load but nothing was in game
- The unity project said my rig was missing a head bone despite having a head bone

It seems like moons like experimentation doesn't allow me to spawn grand armory
It could be that there's so many interiors to choose from that certain interiors take priority on the most basic moon of all time.
I think it's a matter of weight chance
there are 6 interiors and I made their chances equal
their chances are equal and tried simulate [moon] on terminal but only grand armory doesn't appear 😦

I knew a while back that Grand Armory had issues appearing due to some generation error.
I just forgot what the error was caused by.
The interior showed up for me and my friend on moons like Embrion and Synthesis.

This occured because of my stupid mistake sorry for bothering everyone
back in LE days it was just a guess on where the ship is and it was horribly inconsistent
And you didn’t have any base game models or anything
So you had to get everything yourself
No vanilla fire exits, main entrances, lights
Tech you could asset rip them but i me personally I didn’t know and I don’t think anyone else did either when you look at all the early moons
