Yeah, I don't recall ever seeing any fire exit mimics on any modded interior other than LC_Office. The creator of the interior needs to make them compatible, since the mimic dev added support for custom interior mimics
theyve spawned on a bunker one but it didnt work there
also ik wesleys probably not messing with flooded gratar again but it would be cool if the gratar waterfalls rose with the flooded weather cuz rn they just fall through it
Wesley would need a compatibility patch for them to work. It's a little more than just using the vanilla fire exits

You can actually sometimes even see the waterfalls inside the facility, they are those giant mist clouds that appear in some places.

I did some Modded Lethal Company runs today after taking a bit of a break, and I was surprised to see the new grand armory interior. It was a really awesome interior, and I wanted to adjust the spawn rate so it'd spawn on some other moons but I can't find a config file for it. If there is one then what is the title because I can't find it for the life of me.

the best first stepping stone for optimization is making sure every texture is 512x512 AT MAXIMUM. if any are already lower than that, dont change those ones

One thing you can do is to use decimate in blender for props / buildings
That can reduce filesizes quite nicely but be cautious with using it cuz it can also fk up a model

Hey, I'm having an issue where ||on cosmocos, none of the moon-unique scrap is spawning||
||I noticed the moon was spawning way less scrap than it should and upon further testing, it's exclusively spawning scrap from ImmersiveCompany and the revolver from piggy's variety mod||
Is there a known issue/conflict here or do I have something weird going on here

enabling content confiuration for a moon seems to disabled all custom scrap spawns, despite having that custom scrap defined in the spawn list
I turned it off for ||cosmocos|| and now it works
but I want to configure the scrap spawning...

It seems if you make a configuration for the moon's scrap but delete (or disable) and re-add the moon to the list it'll cause the configs to wipe all of the custom scrap from the spawn pool

Threw one up, just in case,
I did further testing and it happens even without doing any weird deleting or disabling
test profile with nothing but Gratar and Etern + dependencies, enable customization on Gratar (without actually changing anything, just enabling it) but not etern
gratar spawns no custom scrap at all, while etern works fine
just v-type engines, big bolts, and tattered sheets
so it seems to be a LLL issue

I had 17 hoarding bug corpses at ship because they kept walking into ship and stealing our lockpickers
I think if something is on the shelf or deeper into the ship they can't
but we usually store our lockpickers on the ground next to shelf due to how much space they take up and the bugs kept grabbing them 😔

Yo Wesley, quick question about your interior mod: Is there any way to configure the chance of the current interiors appearing? No config file is generated for me and I also haven't seen a interior appear ingame yet.

my only issue is that it suddenly snaps to the night skybox
also central config or lethal quantities also let you config interior chances for all interiors

@granite lily quick question about the weather, I just played a 2.5h session with some friends and most planets, for example infernis, were eclipsed every single day. Is there something wrong with deciding what weather planets will have? Seems like an insanely high chance for your moons to have eclipsed currently

It being eclipsed every single time is just unlucky
the way the game picks weather IIRC is that it rolls an even chance between every existing type, so if a moon only has 2 it'll roll eclipsed 50% of the time
which is kinda insane
recommend WeatherTweaks if you want more control over that

what surprised me tho, is that nobody tried "yet" to recreate or do something like STALKER lab interior
main I think it because interiors are REALLY hard to make so usually they choose something either more well known to base off of or more original
im kind of familiar with mapping, but i never knew how hard it is for interiors
modelely well hard isnt the absolute hardest part
its more generations and functionality that are issues a lot of the time

on atlantica, the items i placed outside main were floating above main after it had sunk and then after main came back up they got stuck in the floor
i dont have logs sadly, but hope this helps maybe
That's not really a bug, the main entrance sinks so when it starts sinking the items remember the position you placed them, and after it fully sinks it probably updates the collider so the items fall down
It's hard to make items animate when something is falling or rising, that's why items clip through elevators for example atm if you drop them rather than hold them
It's more of a base game limitation than anything else
maybe with the CC code we can finally have moving objects that don't do that

Noticed that the mod PermanentMoons by BULLETBOT has an incompatibility with some moons of this mod caused by some sort of detail that doesn't allow you to read or load the price of the moons because their name has a "-" inside, like Fission-C and Asteroid-13.
I have tried it with all the windows and those are the only ones that are not changed.
Isn't there a way to do a name change or terminal name detection to "try" to make a quickfix of that detail?

contemplating if anyone would be interested in hearing my modpack’s configs (interiors and enemy spawns) for the wesley moons, since I’ve been usin’ them for a while and made some of them pretty horrid
easy answer. make sure there's no trace of LethalExpansion, it's subsidiaries, or anything that uses it as a dependency in your pack.
For example, Infernis in my pack. More minorly upped the price to 380, removed the outside spiders and lowered the rate of forest giants, and increased the thumper spawn rate while adding masked because they're fun as hell. Main interiors for Infernis are Bunker and the normal Facility. Then, the more evil change is bumping the weight of stop signs to 60~ and adding in Tulip Snakes outside. It's goddamn hilarious watching people get flung into a small pit and die
Rolling Giants and Football also have a fairly high spawn rate, particularly mean for Football since carrying a stop sign means you might need to kill someone else

I think you could also use the Tulips to get to that one fire exit, but the only people who have tried died on the way over
And the only moons I've got disabled are Asteriod 13, Gloom and Junic. Gloom's exits and entrances are pretty confusing and nobody really wanted to go to Junic due to the association of Jungle Moon = Bad Stuff. Asterioid 13 is also one where everyone just wanted to go to Embrion instead
And the clear favourites in the group being Infernis and Oldred.
My usual group hasn’t been to all the moons yet (we kinda suck at money management/surviving) but the running bit is that Junic is lovely. It’s also cheap enough so that we can usually afford it and things usually don’t go wrong there unless someone does something stupid.

For me it only happens on Wesley's moons when near the ship door. Other custom moons don't have this issue. Also logs are always showing some ReverbTrigger error so I don't think it's because of the AI
At least one of the moons I made had this issue. I’ve fixed it (haven’t released the fix yet as I’m still working on other things) but it’s probably because of some invisible triggers by the ship’s entrance. They need to be connected to some audio reverb object (can’t remember the exact name but I can pull it up) which I didn’t have linked. It’s been a while since I looked at the logs for these moons so can’t confirm, but I bet this is it.
I’ll be out most of today, but @granite lily I can try to pull up what I did to fix it if you’d like.
I'd love if you'd share it, Black Mesa could use a fix for that. Along with some other moons I can think of

Turns out I won't be gone for the day, or at least not 'till later. I think I looked at how Vow was set up and managed to reverse-engineer some. The issue for me was primarily within the trigger's Audio Changes list. Each element has an Audio field that I had set to "none" because the proper audio source object that exists in scene needed to be copied/linked. I don't exactly know the deeper reasoning, but my guess is the audio actually plays from the audio source object so when the trigger wasn't linked to a proper one it was trying to change nothing to play something, hence the error spam. I bet these moons have custom sounds and things so I don't know if their issue is similar, but to my limited understanding, I'd recommend checking that around the ship. In my case on some of my moons, I also copied the trigger outside the ship (shipWindTrigger2) and placed it in front of the entrances/exits because weather visuals would disappear upon exiting the facility and this would bring them back, so I had to make sure to update them too. (also, not sure if it matters, but I filled out the children of the AudioReverbPresets object just in case.)

I think that both Flesh Planet™️ and Cosmocos benefit from more vertically-claustrophobic and dark structures. Cozy Office, Facility and sometimes Bunker being my particular go-tos. Anything more liminal would also work well for Cosmocos

maybe you should actually try out a moon before discarding it before even trying. especially junic is really cool, cost efficient, looks great, super short runway to the entrance, not many dangers etc. Gloom may be dark with brackens outside, but there are shortcuts that make it super quick to get to the fire exit.

Don’t get me wrong, I tried Junic. Group just didn’t want to go there, and I’m not gonna add too much to file size if nobody wants to go there. Meanwhile for Gloom… I think they’re justified in not going there. Just from a “the outside of this map wants me actively dead” perspective. Most of ‘em get lost too

im not a huge fan of junic but its alright, it looks cool
that and the fact they get turned around a lot from like, brackens and giants
Acidir definitely fills them up enough on cool forest moons though

Gloom is intended to be kind of like a horror movie moon
Like, you just wander around as a group and your friends get snatched away behind your back
(Though if you know how to evade outside brackens, you'll likely make it out alive)

is it due to a possible conflict with other mods?

I actually just joined into the server to look for answers about the same problem because I wondered if anyone else experienced it :o
Me and a group played a pack with several new moons and interiors, all had the same exact pack loaded up, made sure everything was shared, and several of us saw different weather than the host+whoever it decided to work for at the time. And when you see the wrong weather, you get a different layout for the interior and either fall through the world and die when you enter, or some people would see a mansion/base factory layout.
There were a few interiors it didn't work right for but the grand armory was one of them. I'm wondering if it's a dependency problem and not the actual interiors though since it affected so many? But I wouldn't know for sure.
4 of us went to the toy store once or twice and it worked fine, but then some people had seen the grand armory working one time then the next landing it broke for them. We had even been testing all this a couple weeks ahead of time and got a group together for it a couple times. Had no problems before so I don't know what happened. I had seen the grand armory working beautifully in other tests but suddenly it was breaking for me this time.
Just wanted to chime in that you're not the only one! I genuinely haven't a clue what the cause or solution is however so I'm not sure what mods are actually the source. I really really love the interiors though so I hope to try again sometime and do more testing with them to figure out if anything in particular is breaking it

The littl elevator thing is iffy when you try going up the elevator
Going down, it works normally and as intended
But when you try going up, you slowly start clipping through the floor of the elevator and eventually fall straight through

Dunno if this has been suggested yet, or maybe I just haven't seen it yet, but are there plans to make the Armory also generate downwards? It'd kinda just for immersion, but the inside feels, but most facilities on the outside are only like 40ft tall tops, atleast from the doorway. I know it's a small nitpick and it's a great interior regardless, but also going down into the darker below can be creepier than ascending towards the lights.
given how some of its mechanics function, that may require a different dungeon file entirely
i foresee the armory going into alot of out of bounds triggers if it generated downwards
I concur, Cosmocos is amazing. It's super difficult but rewarding, the different paths make it super interesting every time. The grass might be a bit too dense for how high it is but other than that it's amazing in difficulty/ reward. Super fun to play
infernis, Etern, junic, oldred, Cosmocos would be my 5. Gratar is also great. That way you got a variety of prices
I could probably do this by having an alternate entrance that starts at the top but the interior generation might get a little broken
i just find coamocos a little bit darker imo
might be just that im using low gamma or massive skill issue from my eyes lol

yeah. everytime i try to play it it messes with leaving the company. last i checked it wouldnt allow us to go to the next moon after selling at the company
It's still on the same ver that had that problem, and no matter how many times i reseted it persisted, so i just had to remove LLL and everything that requires it all together
if you haven't tried it in like a month I'd suggest using it again cuz all of that should be fixed
hold on I'll do a quick run on Wesley's moons and see if it's still a problem. i just guessed since its not at 1.2.5 they didn't bother with it
alright just played through a quick quota, and looks like it's no longer an issue. i will do testing with the sellscrap mod to make sure it wasn't that mod that caused the issues.
