Using EasyIdle suggestion as a template. I will be keeping the suggestion simple to focus on the core gameplay loop the monster would add, more features would be bonus.

Sirenhead Suggestions

Core Behavior
Spawn like Giant ( X % chance ) [near ship or entrance ] -> When spawning map gets foggy (not as thick as normal fog) -> Uses sound and radius to detect players -> Once player detected plays altered drop pod music. -> Chases player with slowish start and speeds up getting faster and "eats" player like a giant

Counter strategy: having a boombox and dropping it while it plays music will have siren head pick up and "eat" it, giving you a brief window to escape.

Bonus features:

  • Copy players voices to lure them like the skin walker mod
  • causes static or cutting on walkie talkies
  • Broadcasts Fake vote has been cast ship leaving message
  • static when near player
  • messes with ships systems doors / lights

Tried to keep it simple to focus on main gameplay loop

Tested: spawns and chases player on Sight and plays siren when spotted, loses aggro when entering ship and out of sight, death on touching monster. No animations (unsure if they are added yet or not).
