I love Kingdom Hearts and Traverse Town would make for a good moon and I could spend an afternoon to port it over for LLL.
However I don't want my work here to be associated with porting models and stuff that I didn't make from other developers in my industry 🙂
Much more rewarding to make original stuff for the world to see and get feedback and improve on it
But I absolutely encourage people who want to do that stuff to do it, its a great way for a beginner to get into learning Unity and scene building

someone called "multiplayer compatibility" into question with Outpost and I'd like to know if anyone has had issues with it and if there are logs or similarities in modpacks that can back that up

People walk through main and fall through map, different interiors, similar interior different layout
Game freezes when I try to go to outpost so it's hard to alt tab as it crashes that hard. When my friends and I are playing again I'll attempt to alt tab and see the log before it explodes (rn everyone's asleep so I can't get the log info)
R2 has a copy log button that works after a crash
I don't use R2 I manual install everything
you can get the log from the bepinex folder
haven't seen anything eyebrow-raising recently with outpost

bozoros works fine actually but outpost will stay the same price for some reason
that would be an issue on permanent_moon's end
but the price for outpost is always 0 and always has been so not sure what permanent moons would do for it
the problem happens when you change the price in LLL config
and i doubt permanent_moons will do anything since they havent updated in 3 months and have zero contact listed no discord no github or anything

File size has increased a tiny bit due to the new sounds and upping texture resolutions a bit
LC automatically scaled down textures so that update is for people who use HDLC and similar types of mods
heya, every time i go to outpost 31 with friends, they all fall through the map as soon as they go inside? ive double triple checked we all have the same configs, they're getting the right interior, but its just not working
download lethal level loader fixed, it addresses this issue, the forks been approved by @nocturne charm

diasble lll and enable this, delete old lll configs and let this one generate new ones

this next update to bozoros will be the 1.0.0, i've just been taking a break to plan out my next project

It took me until now to realize this is a BTD reference 💀
The update is taking a bit longer to roll out and might be a bit before I do. Please don't expect anything huge. The update consists of a couple more props and balance adjustments for various things. The biggest thing is it will have a custom config to control various volumes of audio and adjust particle amounts, as well as a streamer friendly option for the firework music
The reason why its taking so long is that I'm not a programmer, I took classes back in college but found I didn't vibe with it so I haven't touched it since. @viral girder however does know how to code, so I brought him onto Bozoros to help with that and he unfortunately got sick this week, so we had to put the config on hold.
The upside to all of this will be that in the meantime we have both been planning / starting the next project for LC and we're working on it together and it's going to be BIG and probably a good chunk of time developing. So big in fact that I might release some smaller projects in the meantime while working on that.
So the config file is more or less his introduction to LC modding and is a good start for things to come.
There will be a more official announcement once we got some ground in the project and enough to release something (we expect development to take a very very long time, longer than LC has been alive for). But rest assured, I am very very excited about it! Already modeled something for it (which may or may not show up in the Bozoros update!)

I also noticed very few enemy spawns as of 0.9.9, might just be personal preference but feels like it could be a bit more dangerous
the first interior enemy spawned at like 3pm
Also only had 1 outdoor enemy before 10pm
Could have just been luck also, I'd double check anyway or just check the values
I have noted for a while that Bozoros feels a tad bit easy

You could always make it spawn very late in the day and not guaranteed
making it so bozoros is still a generous place but you can't be too greedy

That's very doable by making a subspecies prefab. Networking might be an issue if you get them spawning naturally, but I don't think placed prefabs of subspecies have that issue
and having more moons using the concept of subspecies would be generally cool

In certain contexts, mods and basegame stuff that mess with enemies won’t correctly see or treat that enemy right
I remember this being a problem for ScarletDevilMansion's coilhead reskin, but it went the other way with them having to make it a subspecies specifically to avoid problems

Basically a red balloon would just appear nearby a vent somewhere and would float to lead a player near it
As the player gets closer, pennywise would mess with them by appearing and disappearing around them
And if the player gets too close to the vent, they get pulled in

While there are apparently issues with subspecies, you could have a regular unmodified enemy prefab and attach a red nose to an appropriate bone without issue - maybe change up the scan node. Not sure how far you can go without breaking stuff

I could even have them theoretically spawn via keying the prefab being enabled in the day / night cycle animation

I've talked to the author of this mod and the whole skin-per-moon thing will be made possible soon, using this! 🥳 They are working rn on implementing and documenting the basic features of the mods first

Luckily skins and I think modeling are adjustable via the new enemy skinner mod, though idk if anyone has set stuff up with that. It's also has less variety from what I've seen (no public variables or volumes) but they have more depth with events and the like.

You can modify enemy prefabs by making a duplicate in your moon folder and playing with it. It's possible to have it spawn normally, but there are desync issues, so placing the prefab in the map is more stable. You can adjust the texture, add models to their hierarchy, adjust the bones, the scale, their movement capabilities, their sounds, add effect volumes, change their scan node, and a few other minor things.

Currently the last update (not current) for Crest, Rosie's Moons, Sierra, Mycordytum, and soon Bozoros uses the system if you want references
Nope, this method is all in editor, but it's not exactly safe from being modified by other mods.
It seems like Batby is recommending another method for the long term to look into. There's also a brand new enemy skinning system mod for developers, though it's WIP and doesn't use everything prefab can do currently. Haven't checked it out yet, but Sierra dev might have

havent tried bozo before, but ive seen a broken eclipse texture at secret labs before

i didnt realize moon maps had that amount of control with spawns and changing the looks of things
^ still not sure it works in multiplayer so don't get your hopes up yet
Crest had custom skins for a few different enemies but iirc they temporarily removed them
Gordion Sect-0 used to have different thumper variants (removed to the same reason)
And Affliction has a whole new entity (a modified hoarding bug)
And I think I saw that Mycordytum has (or will have) a completely original entity, and I think plans to have custom subspecies of every outdoor entity on the moon
Sierra played with Subspecies as well
Mycordytum Subspecies are being delayed with all the new developments on how to properly implement the system, but there is a placed prefab on the moon.
As far as I know placed prefabs have no issues with desync, which is why Affliction still has their's around as well.

So the config should be neat to a lot of people for a few reasons. If your frames drop when the firework show happens, you can change the PFX sliders. If you are a streamer and don't want to get hit with the big ol' DMCA, then tick on the box for the Can Can.
All the audio and PFX settings are client sided and you don't need to restart the game to apply them, you can change them in orbit before the scene loads.
However the interior settings need to be the same for everyone to avoid a desync.

Hey @late roost v1.0.0 broke my modpack, only vanilla moons show up in the terminal after updating. Rolled back to v0.9.9 and all modded moons re-appeared in the terminal.
double check what else is in your pack that could be causing / conflicting with that because my pack is fine
and I'm hovering around 150 mods
seems great so far in 1.0, only issue i noticed so far is the scrap rate is high
this pack is at 232 with AC installed for reference, will check for conflicts now 🙂
AC is the culprit
Not sure how familiar you are with what went down but the tl;dr is that AC was updated to purposefully conflict with LLL among other mods
AC works perfectly fine with this for me
yeah i'm aware, I'm only running LLL moons (20+) and have no issues with any other.
scrap rate is high in bozoros compared to earlier vanilla moons
iirc it was modified off of Rend or Dine

I recommend for a realistic experience to multiply it by the guests in your party if you have Lethal Quantities

Can confirm. Turning off Lethal Config does indeed fix the problem. It also stops Terminal Formatter from being a casualty as well.

LethalConfig is necessary for loading the config / interior file
so that file is getting skipped by turning that off
current issues aside, even though they’re just reskins, the new monsters do add a lot of personality to mod and goes to show how small changes can make a huge difference <3

but something is preventing the moons that use LLL from loading
you might have to nuke your modpack from orbit and build a new one, all kinds of errors are happening before loading into any moons
not that it means much or is remotely the same kind of modpack experience you guys may have

Just tried the new Bozoros update and it's awesome! A few things to note though
- The textures on the Big Top truck are too low res now, and you can hardly read it
- there were some weird lighting issues throughout the interior
- the spore lizards seemed to not move unless provoked, then they would start acting normally
- I had to lower texture resolutions for file size / loading reasons, this is the sacrifice
- can you give an example of this?
- yeah that's normal spore lizard behavior, they seem to either go to world 0,0,0 or the nearest spawn node for AI

yeah i noticed that, not sure why that happens, the texture looks normal when you are standing on the tiles but the adjacent rooms you can't see them correctly
Hey, having issues with this v1.0.0 again. No longer running AC.
Having Bozoros v1.0.0 installed is no longer allowing custom moons show up at all, It actually straight up nukes all modded moons + dungeons from my LLL config on startup.
This is what I'm seeing in log:

that's something i'm aware of that's not too game breaking so i just need more insight into the cause and solution for that
that error is a non-issue which will be addressed after LLL's next update
it's unrelated to that other issue you reported

I misremembered, this is what fixed it for me
I was updating a bunch of mods so LLL turned itself back on
But removing the char limit thing fixed other LGU conflicts
Which is weird because according to Batby, there should be no functional difference between having it enabled or disabled as long as LLLFixed is enabled
But there obviously is one, as people have experienced differences for a while
there might be, considering this is what fixed my issue
For a while when I used LE and LEcore the same sort of thing happened

Huh.. the logs are weiiiiird. Masa got rid of Raze and SpringFactory a loooong while ago. Masa might just be airheaded but-- Is it because the cfgs are still in the list? Because like, Masa remembered that that only works again if its like actually installed

So yeah, copying log file contents is currently a mind twist for Masa, but Masa will do the un-LLL magic trick. Maybe when the coffee kicks in Masa can comprehend things better

for example vow vs bozoros, both using global LQ config.

bozoros should have exact same interiors and chances
custom moons only have the 6 flows shown there, where they should all have the 12 flows shown
is it possible the 6 interiors that arent' showing are being overridden by something else
such as their own config / LLL's config
i don't typically use this many interiors so I know very little about how they work
fair enough, i would expect the remaining 6 to have the same issue as they also have their own config though
lq doesnt use simulate
lq doesn't explicitly support any mod as of yet

maybe putting the game into dev mode made the sun purple? coz i had several mods to help with testing.
my friend saw the saw purple sun when we were testing, but after i was satisfied with what we had i removed those mods and we both saw normal sun.

What would you say your "Heaviest Moons" are compared to vanilla FPS. I am making a "Light" moons pack for shattered company.
My goal is to have less resource-intensive moons that players with lower-end PC's can play with, and moons that do not have a high Asset Bundle load time/Level loading time.
Which if any do you think I should filter out of the "Light" pack?

Not a crash.
After the Bozoros 1.0.0 update depending on other mod installations - Bozoros causes some toppling problems. Bozoros's change causes Lethal Config to fail, which in turn somehow takes out the Moon Catalog, which causes Mrov's Terminal Formatter to fail.
With Bozoros 0.9.9 everything worked prior.
I am not sure exactly how or what is breaking. I am not sure how to further test than this.
Just in case you wanted to see yourself what happens.
I think I have Lethal Config disabled or removed.
It sounds like a conflict somewhere with LethalConfig and something else in your pack. My pack has Bozoros, a lot of other moons, and Terminal Formatter

However prior there were no errors for lethal config or Bozoros. I feel like some way you tied into Lethal Config is disturbing something else.

Try disabling it, having both enabled took out my moon catalogue as well
It may have gotten re-enabled when I updated bozoros as it is dependant.

i figured out what was going on
the first time audio was bundled with the moon and not the dungeon, hence why the dungeon script could not find anything
