BTS Time; Cause in truth i could have and probably would have, if LR had never come along, but don't think i would've ever nailed the quality in several of these clips. (insight into the process) I usually figure out whether a sound sounds correct or not by comparing it to realistic sounds based on how i think physics would carry the real life counterpart sound wave through the ear/ear canal from said source given factors such as distance and/or acoustics; In cases like the apparatus(something foreign to me), i think "how would this sound in this exact environment"(TLDR Ex. The coilhead war created many things and ripped much of the landscape from titan, but the coil-head survived (this along with the fact humanity made a AI killing bot based on sight); which means that in theory civilization had advanced to the point where the sounds we'd be use to hearing from certain things such as an energy cell might still have an electric hum, (not including a slight warble due to constant voltage changes, and an intensity due to said voltage and amperage being so high, we can also assume however the ohms will also be increased comparatively which would add a SLIGHT restrained/supressed effect (usually not audible, but it's a large OPEN peninsula'd power source so i assume it would be quieter than say a power-cell unrestrained voltage), but despite all that, it still doesn't always equate to a good sound in-game (especially with lethal). (and i'm very self aware of my lackadaisical nature in the matter and on top of that would never feel content with a sound i had made for longer then 24 hours. (though i like the apparatus i made (though let's be clear, in this case 90% of the work was already done, i just added to it) to a degree, i'd probably never put it in an actual pack without some SERIOUS editing and for serious gameplay would still probably go with LRs) (jfc my fingers)

(though maybe a minor bg beeping/indicator from the terminal to go along with the /reactor command (since you can see the reactor status in terminal, in theory the ship would be flipping out a bit)

Idk i guess the root of it is it feels pointless without a goal/a use (i know it's going to sound dumb) It just feels kinda garbo to make something and have it sit on your desktop forever. I use to make sounds and music loops and all sorts of things like that, but over time after deleting file after file through out the years, it's almost a bit demoralizing i suppose. I love doing it and i certainly had a strong passion for it, but i guess what i'm realizing while typing this is i feel as though i've no longer got/slowly lost my reason to create and haven't for a decently long time (though it is nice to see so many compliments and people enjoying the sounds (as memey as some of them might be) It's not even the publicity of it, my sole drive is generally to see/make others smile/enjoy their experience through whatever media i create (whether that's through laughing, crying, or otherwise crapping their pants), but enough time without really having a rhyme, reason, or way to share the sounds made has slowly lead to a decline of not enjoyment, but maybe more so the satisfaction that creating something usually brings. Of-course that being said, seeing you and mono making all these sounds and other people adding their own spins onto tracks has definitely reignited it to some extent and enough time of getting back into the swing of things and I could see myself doing a project (though even now i don't know what it'd be/what it'd look like)

Needless to say, i generally have to manually install anything sound related (friends have a particular set of tastes (not a fan of crankthatjester in particular/no hate, just to quiet of a wind up and was never really a fan of the silly override sounds other than like two of them, three at most) and yeah... 😢 (though my personal pack uses LR out of the box, it doesn't have odyssey, jester, etc to fight with in there as i only use yippee outside of the normal horror element from LR and the base game; just haven't gotten around to releasing it despite me saying i would for over a week due primarily due to having more fun chilling here playing/fiddling with sounds/sound files lol)

Sounds seemed good and if there was a fade between the ship and outside alarms than they were pretty indistinguishable from each-other, would've stayed inside longer for a better comparison, but the bunker spider decided otherwise

I just wanted to know I am just testing my mod pack, I had some better performance when I disabled it but then again my results are inconsistent so I am not saying its you mod.
(Anyways I will fight nail and tooth to keep in my modpack, it scares the crap out of the Jester and I love it).
