I wonder if its due to people using LQ or LLL to mess with monster spawns
like does Halt need to be on the list to spawn or whatever
I've had it set to 100% spawn chance and I've never seen any videos or anyone talking about it so I assumed it was a broken feature š
it has a specific tile that needs to spawn for it to have a chance of spawning, and that tile tends to be rare
if you set the interior size multiplier higher than normal you should see it more
Fascinating, considering how many times I've played on Office never encountering it... That's insanely rare

i posted a video somewhere but he just kind of walks around weirdly, always staring at you, pretty much refuses to eat anything. he'll sometimes get angry because you cant feed him and keep killing people when you cant really do anything about it

afaik the spawn chance is the only way
the spawn weight for the room is so low that most people never see him

Excuse me, but i need to ask a question regarding the interior generation weight : When the weight of generating the office interior is different between the mod's config file and Lethal Level Loader, which one is taken into account ?
Generally, LLL takes priority
But in some cases you may need to make sure both configs matchup

Alright, it's just that while i can choose on what moon LC_Office appears, i can't control manually the odds for each moons, just a global slider
LLL offers you more options for specific weight on each moon and what moons it appears on, as well as its size.
You could designate one moon to be guaranteed if you want.
Oh yeah, i know, i was talking about this mod's config specifically, and i hope LLL is taking priority
You just need to make sure that the config is activated by the check box at the top.

Weird, it works fine on its own but doesnāt work when I reinstall on my pack and also regen the config
for some reason its Mycordytum, i can reproduce the error, but when testing it with just these 2 mods it works fine
So, any chance we could get a standalone of the Shrimp enemy? I've got too many good interiors, and while I like this one, it's not as special as it once was, but I just can't get rid of the little guy.
Since it doesnt exclusively spawn in the office interior, i wouldn't mind the shrimp being given it's own mod. That would help whenever new breaking updates come out, where you dont have to miss out on one because the other is currently broken etc.

I don't for sure, but my game seems to occasionaly not even pop up. Last I checked the logs was doing it's thing then after lcoffice appeared it shut down. Might not be lcoffice, but it is what appeared last before it crashed.

The color/model is already there. Though it's whatever the creator(s) decide

i dont think its that buggy honestly, works fine for me. i would recommend making the size multiplier a bit higher because its so small by default

Can someone tell me how Shrimp ai is supposed to work? I mean it does eat me if I'm around it for too long but it doesn't feel as aggresive as it should be I feel like. i don't know what it is, but can anyone that made the lcoffice confirm if the shrimp works exactly as intended?
hes supposed to be kinda like a jester, will start following you and asking for a snack(scrap or item) if you dont feed him for too long he goes berzerk
he really likes to eat apparatuses : )

Does your interior generate large or small?
Because apparently the office has a problem with trying to generate larger than usual.
It's always small unless you pick the multiplier number to be high.
(And most of the generation ends up in the 1st floor)

Here is a log output. On LCOffice, I put a key on the shelf of the elevator. Waitied till it stopped and grabbed the key. Later on I dropped a stop sign on the elevator while it was going up. When I go the ship I held onto the sign instead of dropping it. When I was either in space or another moon, dropping the stop sign made it completely dissappear. Like it was erased as if I never had it. If someone could figure this out for me that would be a great help. I want to post my modlist but I dont' know how to
Hey, I'm not 100% but LCOffice may be causing multiplayer not be able to land for host but yes for the client. In my support thread "ShipDsync" the ship has landed for client but not exactly for me. I have yet to find the cause but the glitch is rare/uncommon and only happened on free moons. There is a chance, that this happens when LCOffice generations on a moon if it's chosen. I'm not going to say 100%, I'll have to test it.
If anyone else has the same suspicion, please reply to this message? There are 4 people in total that this has happened to and the number keeps rising. something is causing this glitch in multiplayer
Define 'land'. As in, only clients are able to pull the lever to land and start the level, or something else?
Before I ship starts to land, if you have windows on the moon you can see the moon for like a full second then the ship will start at the atmosphere and descend. The ship will land but the door will not ever open for me but the client can exit the ship and play normally. To me, even the monitor looks like it would in space and I'm just stuck in the ship. I can't even be killed

Sometimes when the office interior is selected, the game will just be stuck on the "random seed: ...." screen and the ship will never land or open. I used the freecam mod and every time the glitch happens it is when the office interior is chosen but it still sometimes worked
this gives me some hope lcoffice was the cause

Is there any way to increase the chance of halt spawning by chance?
Yes, actually. In the configs for LCOffice alongside Shrimp. However, Halt just spawns on a certain tile of the Office itself.
So editing that does nothing basically?
It does make it more likely to spawn while you're on that tile, but the tile itself needs to exist for the spawn chances to even mean anything.
So it's up to the tile first, then it's up to your chances.

I asked this some time ago and turns out... pretty rare. Nothing concrete but better raise your Halt's spawn chance to a 100%
If you don't care about making quota and just want to find the damn thing you could also raise dungeon generation size to increase the odds of that tile being picked

Oh I see. Shrimp got caught on a railing inside the Grand Armory that I sorta had to walk around for him to reach me. I dropped a Mahjong Tile for him to eat but he didn't want it. Instead, he was intent on eating flesh
He ate all the bullets as they came. Doesnāt matter how fast you throw an object he will consume it
for me just runs around randomly when hes usually supposed to just follow you until you give him enough scrap i think. he also just does not want to eat anything 90 percent of the time basically guarantee aggroing him

I'm not 100% but I think there is a very slight possibility your interior is causing this weird ship glitch in multiplayer where it acts like one person is still in space while the other is on the moon. I don't know if that was when I was using these weird two monster mods that flooeded the log with errors but it has happened without them so the broly and spongebob ones aren't the cause

It got fixed in one of CR updates, something with how Windy was being registered

Theyāre actually pretty simple. When someone calls a serverrpc, it runs only on the server. When the server calls a clientrpc, it calls that function on every client

She can spawn invisible inside or behind the Office's main entrance door, sometimes causing you to get your head immediately blown off by merely going up to the doors
It was especially present in a Code Rebirth update. It's true I don't see it happening much atm. I think what it was, was code rebirth's hazards, lcsurfaced hazards, vanilla hazards, and testaccountvariety hazards all weren't configed by the players and just spawned everywhere

this will probably fix a majority of your networking issues people tell you about since you know how they work aside from this niche thing

I specifically look for the generated RPC initializer method on my NetworkBehaviour classes instead of using the Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly().GetTypes() method described in the UnityNetcodePatcher readme since that loads soft compat classes and is probably also wasting a lot of time checking classes that don't have initializers
(you can ignore the network prefab registration, that should already be taken care of on your end)

Ok I got to test once on facility and once on mineshaft with only this mod installed. I left the facility right before getting chased, waited one second, went back in and Shrimp was able to run towards me on facility.
On mineshaft I waited until shrimp got angry, left, went back on, and as i went back down Shrimp was running around like normal and chewed me up
My theory is that as long as line of sight isn't broken before the chase starts, the monster works fine. Or perhaps as long as line of sight is maintained up until the player reaches main or fire exit... not sure, i think the former is more plausible

It either has something to do with the cabinet thing in the LCOffice elevator where you can store things or dropping an item while the elevator is moving
But when you do either one. (or something related to the elevator) and leave the moon with an item in hand

@narrow fossil Sorry for the ping dude but LC_Shrimp looks to disable the extra monitors for GeneralImprovements when you're playing as a client, host still sees them fine, tested with a friend and when LC_Shrimp is disabled you can see them as a client.

I am experiencing issues with Shrimp! Things look perfectly fine on the host side of any game, but for any client's monitors will break, there are more issues though. I use a few mods, "GeneralImprovements" multiple monitor configs, 3 of the vanilla monitors, being cameras and the monitor showing what is being orbited will break while the mod is loaded, this issue persists with the configs turned off or even the mod entirely gone, another mod issue is "ShipWindows", the windows are not visible on a client's screen while the mod is loaded and cannot be fixed, another issue is with the mod "HotbarPlus", this affects both Host and Client, when a new slot is unlocked the offset is incorrect making it dis-aligned on the screen and buggy, not the worst one since it is still usable, but it does just break a lot.
I don't want to rid of Shrimp, bro, I love Shrimp, but he is a bit too buggy š¦

the mod LC_Shrimp version 1.0.4 works perfectly fine for the host, but for anyone else in game it breaks the more suits/toomanysuits (whichever one adds suit pages) mod. some people run into suits not showing up at all, while others run into all suits being on a single page and clipping out of the coat rack, blocking the charging coil and causing hitbox clipping issues

Best way to get him to spawn more often is to crank the spawn rate all the way up and just go to LC Office because his spawn is tied to a specific tile within the LC Office
The tile isn't guaranteed to appear, but if you crank up the spawn rate, you'll probably find it.
saw this on the top floor, thought id point it out, enemies can walk through the wall, i didnt know if this always occurs, or not, was just testing for an elevator script (which im guessing the office has none) as i was trying to make masked use the elevators on the office like they use them on the mineshaft.

What is this about it being broken? It was working fine for me last night, just before latest update on 1.0.4.
I did see an error involving it, and a few other mods when updating to LLL 1.4.9, but I assumed that was an LLL issue, and rolled back while my group played.

I'm pretty sure me and my buddies were in sync with the shrimp, unless it was just slightly off. But had at least 2 standing there staring at it, and then fed it something and moved on. 100% worked. So maybe I got something else running causing it to not break, or I'm not running something everyone else is.
It isn't actually about the Shrimp itself, it's about your MoreSuits rack.
My friends have been having major desync issues on the ship ever since I redownloaded it.
Oh I've been using Suit Terminal, so that makes sense.
It also desyncs furniture for other people occasionally, despite not having any mods that adjust furniture. Some furniture will not be visible on ship for some while visible for others, sometimes people just can't move furniture
