ive been hosting public lobbies and if you get moderation/anti troll mods its workable, you can weed out the griefers

im broke so i cracked it instead since 10$ is a lot more expensive here in my country

the most common trolls i got was the "hehe" guy wearing mask then force voting to leave moon -.- or the guy that spend all money and leave. 1 time i had a guy that was throwing items to water...

anticheese: prevents people pulling the lever to leave without others on board/being the last alive
lockdown: prevents object moving, changing moons, prevents people forcing landing, prevents non host buying items
LCFriendlyFireSettings: prevents people murdering eachother with weapons
FriendlyShopkeeper: prevents people spamming the bell to get you killed at the company
ShipLobby: allows people to join you between missions (client user does not need the mod, only host - client user will be invisible until they die and respawn)
Lethal Admin: gives you a banlist option, can see who is on walkie talkie, host only ship lever, see who tries to pull levers, set minimum dead leave votes
Nameplate Tweaks: so you can see which fool is spamming racist bile
OuterDoorButtons: so you can let yourself in if someone locks you out
NoMorePush: prevents players pushing you
Touchscreen: so you can control via monitor if someone is blocking terminal
all of those DO NOT require other players to have the mod so you can host public lobbies with far less griefing```

if there is a wall behind you she cannot spawn. if you dont turn around when you hear her the first time she cant start hunting you

you can edit cupboard pressing b going into it then space and press e and you are on top of it and she cant kill you

you can also buy a shower and put it near terminal in ship, ship counts as wall and shower does too, so you have 4 walls close to you that way

if you dont like events etc you can disable them but if you want only that one option i suggest to look for specific mod that changes only spawn rate/chance
