I edited the scrap of a custom moon to test it and it's just spawning all shotguns

Getting some kind of a desync bug in multiplayer, friends appear to be spawning in a different dungeon (Spawning in a void, etc) while I see normal generation as the host. Checked their log files, no major errors to be found. Tried a fresh save as well, still happening on vanilla maps/dungeons.

Removed SW, cleared my copy of LLL (host) and redownloaded. Friend was still spawning into a void when entering fire exit on map (Vanilla map/interior). Here are the new logs.
Testing v6 everything worked. Running 1.2.0 modpack fire.

When you create a new save, there is a .moddata file created in the saves directory.
Maybe if that file was then copied with a new name, such that older saves now have those corresponding files.
Then the old save just loads the defaults from those files, and it's usable from this point
There's still the potential for some data to go missing or corrupted with such a save.
Because there could be things in that save-file, that used to be saved into the game-save, but now would be expected inside the .moddata file.
So modded things would just disappear from the save as if they never happened. But the vanilla things and game progress would be recovered in this way
Again, batby or max would need to sanity check this idea, cuz I'm just guessing

Its good that enemies are spawning, but it could still be affecting the deadline since its broken. I'd disable and test to see if deadline works. if it doesn't, then its another mod

I'm usually able to narrow down mod issues from the log, sometimes its cryptic and doesn't tell me which one it is. other times it will tell me.
Its important to watch your log if your game is having issues with mods. The log is important for the dev to figure out what is breaking with their mod.

if you have 2 monitors, put your log on the second one with the game on the first, easier to watch that way.

idk cause i've never used that mod. Like I said, its a trial and error, so you've gotta disable any mods you think would possibly mess with the deadline.
If I have a huge modlist, I will recreate the modlist with the quality of life mods then slowly add the mods I think may be an issue and test from there. Once I recreate the same issue from adding one mod at a time, thats when I figure out which one it is.
But if you go this route, keep in mind, this can take hours.

Do you have mods running off of Runtime? Once that was deprecated, we removed that for our group. I know you can still use it, its just not going to be updated anymore. I always see no updates as an issue with future updates.

when it does the deadline skip, generalimprovments is what populates in the log, its not an error just general log

Ok, I believe I've found the incompatibility. It's LethalCompanyVariables and/or ConfigurableCompany from what I can tell.

Turns out the LethalCompanyVariables already has a fix on the way, at least for the problem I was experiencing. Is there a fix planned for the freezing on existing saves? What a letdown to just have the game crash when trying to use a save that was working yesterday, even a vanilla one.

I got the issue to go away by disabling lethallib and all mods dependent on it. so if its not actually lethallib itself, its a mod dependent on it thats causing the issue

I think the situation of even having to have a new save is bad enough. If it's not working for you even with minimal mods, I'd leave the logs here and hope that Batby cares enough to fix.

I imagine Batby will be glad to hear that ALL has been removed from Potatoe’s repository, and since 1.2.0 supposedly works with AC (as of 1.1.24) with no issues, he has no plans to continue development of it.
Although people should keep in mind that any issues with compatibility shouldn’t be directed towards Batby whatsoever, as AC compatibility isn’t supported by LLL.
Realistically there’s no reason for him or AC to be brought up in this thread again

Yes, there is no expectation of LE working with LLL as LE isn't actively maintained
Batby went out of their way to ensure compatibility for v49 but that is no longer the case for v50 due to lack of active development on LE's part, most LE moons are porting to LLL

LE currently works on v50 (via the experimental version the dev released, but they're also looking for a new maintainer hence the "not actively maintained" part), but I can't speak for whether LE moons work properly on v50

There's no interoperatability, if you remove LE any mods that depend on LE will need to be removed
porting to LLL is something the devs in specific need to do
