First of how is it not an easy enemy type? There's at least like a dozen modded examples of something like it. Honestly it's functional design I would say is like an old bird, starts out as an inert object before it activates and attacks you. The only difference is that old birds have fun throwers and missile launcher and look like robots plus old birds are inactive because they have a delayed spawn.
This thing on the other hand it would just be inert until you get close then it's limbs shoot out of the box and then attack you. Not to mention there are creatures that either restrain you or suffocate you in the vanilla game.
Actually out of a lot of enemy ideas I've seen it seems actually easier to make than say half of the things in code rebirth.

Well it seems easy enough because of 12 other people can do it then clearly it's in some level reproducible. I mean it acts like an enemy with a delayed spawn that spawns once you get close enough to it.

It's something it will take time it would be tedious but I don't think it'd be difficult necessarily.

That's the other thing that's great about it too is that you can almost throw it in anything. Office spaces, facilities, pretty much any industrial space or commercial space where a box would be sent to.
If he doesn't do it I hope someone else picks it up because it could add the game if done right anyway. I guess it would suck if it ended up being a generic Chase creature though and the way i describe it it kind of would be.......I just don't know what else It could do without making it too complicated.

I thought about doing that for The lumberjack by ripping off pieces from The nutcracker and just recreating the head, key, and axe. A swinging animation probably isn't too bad and could just be a modified version of the shovel animation. And making a key turn is for sure easy.
