Since adding savage company my masked spawns on their own has dropped significantly

i have seen a performance improvement with it so
I guess this has more to do with light sources being deactivated tbh
But I guess it might also be because of the custom passes of the game tbh
I mean, its hopefully just a matter of time till Unity introduces something like Deferred+ :3

I am more of a fan of deferred rendering even tho it has problems with transparency :3
One thing I also really like is basically MatMask Rendering like BotW and TotK is doing

The problems in this game are the light sources
They take quite a toll on rendering.

Occlusion culling isn’t automatic in Unity, it’s either baked in editor or setup via occlusion box colliders. LC doesn’t do any dungeon occlusion culling afaik, so anyway dungeon content that isn’t gonna be culled by frustum culling is going to be loaded
Once we get LC running in editor I’ll be very excited to profile it properly
Is it Forward or Deferred? There are Depth Buffers at play in Deferred
and stuff isnt rendered really (besides their geometry to check for Z Depth) if there is an object rendererd in front of them
Which is the reason transparency will struggle with Deferred as they have to render in a second pass

Something I actually wanna talk to zeekers about is the noticeable performance difference I had when enabling meshcolliders in async rather than them all turning on inn a single frame
CullFactory helps by checking if the player is inside a bound of any room, and then traverses nearby rooms to set their visibility
You can basically create a dynamic occlusion system for a dungeon generation like LC has it tho
You can prebake every room :P
But Unity doesnt support stuff like that I think and it would be needed to be done in Unity Editor anyways

have you looked at OnVisable and the other function unity has

LethalProgression works when disabling hand slots but honestly you don't need it. You have better skill system in AC.
LethalRegeneration supposedly works. Haven't tested myself.
Fasteritemdropship can be disabled. You can do the same with a ship perk in AC. Think it's called express delivery
I have one suggestion (I had other ones but I don't remember).
About the express delivery ship perk ,Instead of upgrading the delevery speed time, it also increases the amount of items it can carry and the time the itemship stay on the planet before leaving.
If the delivery area is far away from the ship, the express delivery can become an issue.

I don't quite understand it
if you're hit by hitscan you take full damage, if the hit is obstructed all damage is lost. Pellets can spread out, so like it can pass through pipes a bit more etc.
So like instead of flat dmg, it would be like 8x10dmg for example, and drops off with range.
It's why shotgun is so bad vanilla.

AC is compatible with ALOT of mods. Potatoe does quite a bit to ensure this and also allow uses customisability.

Good stuff! xD Yeah CullFactory gonna be a good mod I think once it's tweaked more, waiting to see if they change to LoS system for culling instead of distance based.
I don't recommend using it for custom interiors atm until future testing/tweaks done tbh. Other than that, out of the box you will see good improvement, heard good stuff as well for VR users!

I disabled everything in there except for Version Number.
It never broke AC, but it did cause me some desyncs and stuff

Advanced Company fills user logs with quite a substantial amount of information, Which I totally get and appreciate, But as a developer it can make it a little hard to read through user reports. There's a few other mods that I'd probably say the same for.
Since you have such a foundation for config changes, Is there any chance by default the logs could be a little less extreme? With an option to enable full reporting in case you need all that information?

I'm gonna end up on the hall of fame list but me and my friend still get the version mismatch error ( using LC_API 16somthing instead of v49 ). It's something i reported earlier in AC's developpement and I got told that everyone needs to load a game before trying to join a lobby

You shouldn't need LCCompatChecker whilst AC is installed, I think Potatoe done it's own kind of troubleshooting for errors to prompt in log/screen. Don't worry asking questions ain't gonna get you on any list haha xD
Yeah some people reported AC being funky with VR, messing with menus etc - haven't been able to see for myself :< But this was with other mods installed as well.

If you disabled it using the LethalConfig option, that may cause a ton of issues

That’s the problem lol :P in game config bad. Advanced Company is not responsible for the problem, if you restart your game you won’t see the issue again.
I've restarted several times but the same error remains. I only used the game config once after repeating it 4 times.
Just so you know, what’s happening is the game is booting up and thinking the wheelbarrow is enabled, but then you forcefully disable it using LethalConfig, which causes the game to get stuck once it starts trying to load a save

yea, I used both a fresh save that was deleted and a file that had progress
The error used to be longer but disabling some other mods, including lethal progression, shortened it to just this one.
Lethal Progression? you cant the extra hand slots for that one so you need to manually disable that from the main config

for what it's worth even disabling AC, the same error shows so this might not even be a AC issue

yup, logs are pretty much identical to this. It's weird though it was working fine for like 3 days until I installed ac. Maybe it got updated with a bug recently?

i dont have some of your mods so im not sure about the compatibilities on those
longerDay functionality is built into AdvancedCompany so you dont need it (you can modify it in game settings iirc).
OH.
PersistentPurchases is known to cause issues and the functionality is also built into AdvancedCompany - remove dat, and modify the base setting in "perks" :P
I really think Persistent Purchases is the issue
Also, not the biggest issue, but (even though it’s great and super simple) MoreEmotes creates bugs, and is just not compatible with some stuff.
I think it’s (basically) ok with the current state of the modpack but you might want to check out BadassCompany instead!
Same issue, I'll see if I can just uninstall and reinstall some mods just to get more info on which mod's fault it is. If nothing changes then I'll just do as you suggested. Thanks a lot for the help tho guys, didnt think I'd get such informative responses that fast

What does it do?
If ur trying to solve a mod conflict issue there is an algorithm that is statistically the best way to do it:
Delete half the mods
Check if the problem persists
If not:
The conflicting mod is in the other half, Repeat the process with that half
If: repeat the process
I'm actually doing that right now, I disabled like 20 mods and am slowly enabling them to find out what the problem is.

Yea I only deleted the 20 most recent downloads, since it worked before I installed those 20 in 1 go. So far it runs perfectly fine
Nice, though with those twenty, using half and half method rather than checking one by one, you can narrow it down to like 2 mods after 4 like runs

I don't really think this is a log type of thing
But when you max out your carry bags at 10 slots total (overall slots) - it automatically scrolls into your alt slots
@solid pivot Found out that Flip17's Emote Mod breaks the arms and therefore breaks your personal terminal. probably why it was broken the last i mentioned it
will be promptly removing that asap
