btw i was just wondering if this is a bug or not but some perk values dont seem to behave right, like jump endurance, instead of making it cost 10 less stamina per level its costing 10 more stamina per level unless i set it to -10

The Advanced Company cosmetics system is causing trouble with the MaskedEnemyOverhaul mod, the author of the mod is trying to fix it but I was wondering if there was a way to do this instead.

So you would have to run and when your battery was emptied by one you could use a battery to charge it back up

@solid pivot Is there potential for like some form of generator? that players can charge their batteries on? Each object would ave a different power cap, flashlights only take up 10 'units' of power, whereas a night vision help take '20 units'
Say its a two handed object that players can bring into the facility, makes playing with mods that increase the dungeon size a lot less taxing. But does come with the risk of it being stolen by a hoarding bug, making players more protective? So its not ridiculously over powered, but still a more end game item
Perhaps the caveat is once its power has been used, you have to buy a new one, or have it struck by lighting, giving players an incentive to go to stormy moons.

This mod is fantastic and has made a world of difference for our group of 9 to have a blast in LC. I am just down to trying to figure out troubleshooting a few last things which are more than likely interactions from other mods, but I'm a bit stumped as to what or how the issues may be surfacing.
- Adding custom moons with adjusted pricing / values in the config doesn't seem to reflect in-game no matter what I've tried with the naming, but I am not sure what could be interfering with that.
- When a player dies with the headlamp on and respawns when we get to orbit, it is often giving a flashing strobe effect until we hand them a replacement headlamp and have them toggle it.
- We're struggling to find a way to 'reset' player XP + corral it down to individual saves -- I think we're mostly a bit confused on how it should be set, but presently we seem to be carrying the same bulk XP across multiple saves, but if we toggle the save profile it just keeps resetting on new sessions (or at least it seemed that way) without having been fired / restarted.
- For the above FWIW, if it's something you might want a heads-up on -- we had briefly used the 'QuotaRollover' mod and unexpectedly resulted in a situation where we'd overshot the quota and AC kept giving the meet-the-quota XP bonus repeatedly. We stopped using that but were hoping to find a way to roll back the excess XP it resulted in.
- This is very likely because of the scuffed Skinwalkers update they rolled back that was causing stability issues (they did a version that was trying to store the audio clips in active memory instead of writing to the disk) but we had situations where we could no longer order certain AC items from the store -- not even that it wouldn't find them, but the terminal wouldn't let us hit enter to complete the entry.
All that aside, is there a patreon or ko-fi or the like to support AC development? Cheers!
We also had a weird case where resuming a group save after a break in sessions had two players 'swap' their XP and perk setups, but that is resolvable with a respec at least, just a peculiar predicament.

So its behaving very strange. While hosting a lobby I have to open the cosmetic menu again and save/continue for the cosmetics to show up. But then when I emote using tooManyEmotes, mirror decor bugs out and im invisible. Not sure what is happening here.
Oh - for whatever reason the checked option to save bought suits on firing / restarting doesn't seem to work for our crew, we lose all the suits anyways; we'd tried to use it alongside with the persistent decor mod that's supposed to just retain ship decorations on firing but that also doesn't work for us anymore (but used to before the most recent LC update, vexingly.)

They probs wrote that because people kept telling @solid pivot that it don't work. It's been working the entire time I've used AC.

Just make sure you NULL/Remove ReservedCores Flashlight binding.
Ignore generalimprovements update, I haven't updated/checked it yet but yeah ReservedCore works
Also just checked, still safe to use recent update with GeneralImprovements jsut make sure to disable inverted mouse in AC.
Gonna try test Lategame_upgrades against AC and see if there's some compatibility without breaking store menu.

Just disable any rank based mods one by one, whilst start game up to see if fixed.

If you remove an object from the store through Config, it breaks the "lgu" store.
But for it to be compatible, you must remove the "night vision" and the "helmet" so that it does not get overloaded with this

The strobe effect should be gone. Quota Rollover is a tricky one to fix, have to look into their code later.

My friend cant get VR to work because the main menu has been changed. (because of the advanced company in the logo), once he removes the mod, the black screen is gone
I do have a question @median phoenix @solid pivot Right now does Input util create overrides for the profile? So if I make changes in the keybind menu those settings carry over when sharing the profile?

But when they become the same InputAction I could simply test

Binding Flashlight and Head Equipment Slot to the same key changes the intelligent flashlight keys behaviour

Just for everyone reading rn: NetworkConfig mismatch is an Unity Error you werent able to see before you had AC. In Vanilla its "An error occured". NetworkConfig mismatches happen because client and host have different network prefabs. The most probable cause is different mods or different mod versions.
I assume this mod breaks LCVR because of the UI changes, like the main menu being changed leading to a black screen, and the ingame hud having new slots. But apparently other mods that add UI just make them not show up, but not break the game completely.
AC gives you way more specific error messages
AC doesnt lead to a black screen anywhere

Is there potential for like some form of generator? that players can charge their batteries on? Each object would ave a different power cap, flashlights only take up 10 'units' of power, whereas a night vision help take '20 units'
Say its a two handed object that players can bring into the facility, makes playing with mods that increase the dungeon size a lot less taxing. But does come with the risk of it being stolen by a hoarding bug, making players more protective? So its not ridiculously over powered, but still a more end game item
Perhaps the caveat is once its power has been used, you have to buy a new one, or have it struck by lighting, giving players an incentive to go to stormy moons.

Doesn't seem like it would be more powerful than spending your xp on several extra inventory slots

Could be because an item doesnt define an AudioClip. I think this audioclip is being played from vanilla code. But not 100% sure
