- Diversity has been fully recoded for better maintainment, optimization and performance!
- Added configs for the Walker.
- Added new mechanics to the Walker.
- Added lots of lore, voices lines and many mysteries about Diversity!
- Added compatibility with Wider ship and 2 story ship for the posters.
- Added config for the stairs.
- Fixed the Bracken's "neck massage".
- Changed the Watcher spawn logic. He will be more frequent so I suggest to tone down the spawn weight if it's high.

could it be an ambient sound mapped to replace the wrong entry? like it replaces the desert ambiance by accident?
More likely result is chaos using the same audiosource and file name, and soundap hooking into that

And it turned out - 15-20% fps
If that’s something you’re fine with then keep the mod enabled
If not then just delete it

furniture positions dont change, if you remove the mods and you placed things somewhere further out or in the 2nd story they just stay where they were too wich basically ends up in furniture being outside the ship for example lol

The floppy reader UI takes priority over the pause menu btw
(even though its invisible it prevents clicking the back button on the vanilla settings menu n stuff)

Anyone else having performance issues with this mod? With Diversity by itself my fps dipped down to the 80-90 range when ususally it's up towards the 180 range.

The screen effect when the girl chases you lowers my fps by a huge amount, almost like a slideshow
After the effect is gone, the fps return to normal

I was messing out with imperium and had instantlanding set but I got that error. It didn't let me land on the oneshot moon refuge. It lagged the whole time as if it was generating the level still.

when i use version 1.3+ the diversity posters are floating, with version 1.2.5 they are ok, just with the newer versions i get this problem, i had 2storyship installed with both wider ship version ...

What does Hydrogene revamp do?
Is it the reason I just got killed by a literal blob of slime SPEEDING through the hallway?
The rework only makes its so the hydrogere picks/carries scrap and bodies in it's path as it moves along normally.
If your slimes are moving at mach speeds that's not from this mod
Could the hydrogene be pulled or pushed by something?
Cause it was accompanied with the lil crying mf... Like, I didn't get a proper look at it but I think the baby was inside the slime?
I swear when it picks stuff up something it grows

It's likely an oversight that baby maneater is technically classified as scrap and hydrogere's are coded to carry scrap with this mod

He must have picked it up while still allowing it to "walk" and boost itself that way.

Depending on how you configure it the vending machine either spawns outside by main or can spawn indoors. It's easier to feed it to the vending machine if it's inside obv xD

yup, the slime simply went baby turbo motores on my ass cause it's been picked up by the slime which wouldn't let go of it
in a large build of mods, this is strongly felt, I also had it, so I turned it off, waiting for new updates. in general, I would like to cut out Walker and the mezzanine with Bracken and his room, because this is the most interesting thing for me in this fashion
Maneater got grabbed by the hygrodere since it’s considered scrap
Maneater continues walking towards the player upon sight
Hygrodere gets boosted forward by the maneater, still holding onto Maneater which gets boosted forward by the hygrodere.

Maybe hygrodere and Maneater have a symbiotic relationship
The Maneater drags hygrodere to prey quicker and the slime kills the prey faster
unofficial maneater revamp
maneater has become more resourceful and has started using hygroderes for easier movement and digestion of food
very helpful because they do a lot of growing all at once and need to eat to compensate
who knows what this'll mean for the lore

Walker broken for anyone else? You just get ported to the other dimension but you just see the start animation and have a Blackscreen after that. Turns back to normal the next day but kinda sad it doesnt work properly

that monster is genuinely one of the scariest modded enemies i've encountered
I don’t have the clip anymore but I have a friend in my group who hates horror. He was one of the last two alive and was all on his own with the walker. He got caught and was so terrified. Made for one of the funniest clips when he got jumpscared by the black mold/hole on the wall.
It takes a special creativity and lots of effort to make projects like diversity. I hope IntegrityChaos is feeling better soon, life sucks sometimes and there’s not always a lot we can do ❤️

I've heard the bracken room's mash to escape prompt is broken, and noticed the ||"THEY ARE PAYING THE PRICE" text when looking at someone who's in the bracken room via radar|| is host-only also

Dev is taking a break for a good while, I'd guess a few months. You could keep it installed just not enabled unless you are fine with losing 20-40 fps

||imo id like it if it killed you more than the stairs thing, it already slams doors so seeingit explode the player into bloody gibs would be enough. that said i know chaos has their own lore for the thing and the stairs, and i believe they can make it more fun later on||

Hello, I was playing and when Braken caught a player to take him to his safe zone, he crashed the game for this player. We were in a different interior than the vanilla one. One of UT99interiors to be exact.
Any idea why this happened?

If it's the same root cause there's a chance turning the room off could help

I’ve been making a horror modpack, so I of course added diversity. But after even disabling the entire config it was still causing up to 20% of my FPS being lost at some times. Even when inside.

There's probably a better way to do it but a simple solution for Slaughterhouse would be for Chaos to just blacklist my 3 doors that can randomly spawn open or closed
That said detecting open doors before making them suspicious is probably better
It's the gate on Mazon, it uses a DoorLock script
I have a gate that uses the Door scripts, but with the Doorlock stripped
Yeah I run DoorLock.ForceUnlock on the gates to prevent them from being locked
and Diversity makes certain assumptions and tries to spawn the walker's door there
It happened on Refuge before because the secret door there was incorrectly set up
but worked after fixing some things on it, but nothing's broken on Mazons Gate as far as I'm aware

The issue with the Doors ended up being cus it was trying to hook into Mazon's Gate on DemonMae's moon and DemonMae didn't even know why, Nikki's interior is fine

Regarding p.1 - This is exactly what I did :p
As for p.2 and p4 - it was actually due to assumption that a MeshRenderer is on a parent of a DoorLock script, i added a check to skip if it's null
Honestly if you've ever considered adding a maintainer for the mod I think Voxx would be pretty fitting to help you work on it when you're not around 
Might not be a bad idea. I'll think about it...

It's a great mod, and in one day Voxx has already done so much so I can finally play with it again

For those who are a bit curious of what's been goin on with me, I'll explain as much as I can without being too dramatical about it.
First of all around November I lost the job I had when I was a chef for my friend's restaurant since they decided to close up for good. Following on December I sadly lost 3 family members which made Christmas not too great. Recently a girl whom I really liked got with someone else. (Cliche but yeah lol) They were a few days where I wanted to give up everything but I managed to go through them.
Though aside from the bad stuff I've been working on a few other projects unrelated to Diversity and I am proud on how it's coming along. I've recently started to write a light novel that is heavily inspired by The Kingdoms of Ruin, RE:Zero and Code Geass. And I've been working on some personal project like DnD For example.
