Hey bud. I was wondering if you can help me find whether an error from diversity is causing a conflict with Oxygen [1.4.0].
Me and @delicate oriole have been trying to trace this error.
It seems to cause a lockup in three instances.
End of the round, all players are dead.
End of the round, all players are alive.
When a player (usually the host) tries to quit the game back to the menu. Only the affected player locks up.
We believe it may be related to this Diversity error.

(A friend of mine got this glitch without cheating, which is why I'm sending this here)
The bug is the concussion effect. It occurs when cheating/invincible (for whatever reason) whilst you were given the effect. Personally, I've just disabled the darn concussion
the things that can give you concussion basically instant-kill (or you would've been dead anyways).
Unlike the other ailments though, you can't config how long this eye-watering effect lasts... :x
although interestingly enough, the effect temporarily goes away when in orbit - and then reappears when you go back down from orbit. ... I don't know how that's possible given health states reset on a day passing, fully healing and giving invincibility to everyone until the lever is pulled . ,.
(I guess Diversity doesn't... clear ailments on day end?.... I can't really think of why/how it'd happen o- o)
Unless the clearing of the ailments require "damage" - and since the dev tool gives invincibility, the health state can't change because the player can't be damaged to fix it. My only hypothesis'
coilhead gives concussion but deals 90dmg iirc

the concussion sticks with you when you're invincible somehow
For me it only cleared after I died (well, killed myself lmao) in the next round. Going in orbit temporarily removes it but it seems to return when you land

Are there any known mods that don’t work with the brackens and walkers abilities to send you to another place? Cuz both of their domain expansions don’t work for me. And no for the bracken one I don’t have any other bracken mod that could get in the way extremely doubtful that Freddy bracken would be a problem
besides snatching bracken, none that I know of
Walker is unique to diversity, so unless something is made specifically for it there shouldn't be any problems there

And the bracken just caused my screen to go black and then I was dead

It's an issue with the personal space option for the bracken-
Can confirm a few things- the bracken can be killed, the player is unable to scroll/interact. Fixed when teleported.

I approve of testaccount666's stuff already, so I'm down to be a bug tester of that.
the manual one forcibly resets your inventory interactions, and the automatic one tries detecting whenever they're broken and then fixes them so it's bound to have at least a few exceptions

I have a glitch/bug where everytime the dress girl gives me hallucinations (putting the screen blue) my fps get low after, and stay very low
Example, I get 160 fps in the interior, after the hallucination I am left with 30-40 for the rest of the game unless I go to main menu and rejoin the game to fix it
Dont know if it maybe has to do with the GraphicAPI or something

I had a bug, on the first day the mod works fine and complete darkness works, but on the second day everything becomes lighter, like the mod stopped working. I play with mods, and if it's because of a certain mod, then what should I remove?
braken seems to be broken
I just tested it with a friend because we've been having issues with it. When their neck was snapped, I wasn't able to move for a while, then when the braken came after me, it didnt attack at all kinda kept dancing by my feet
yeah just disable personal bracken room in the config to fix that-
now that i think about it. that bracken bug sounds awfully similar to the mask bug.
masks can no longer harm their previous victim if they are revived again through LGU.
dunno the game's code, but the monsters are probably getting stuck in some game state when their previous victims are revived or aren't killed
bracken changes have been seeming to just, not. for a while now. no personal space, no flickering lights, anger works though. snatchinbracken compatibility is enabled if it matters.

Fun fact: you're actually still in full control during the landing cutscene, it's just the camera is not from the normal first-person perspective. So, if you're like me and like using a jetpack to fly out of the ship as it's touching down, you can still do that, just with a more 'epic' feel.

Yeah it's still very stable on the new update only a few minor things that might not be working as intended but use the config accordingly to disable certain parts of the mod.

I don't think the scream is something that should play when a player is grabbed, since it should be to the players to react instead
I also second this. Adding reactions for players can feel sort of forced at least in my experience when I was working on LR
If you really want a scream to result from it some things that might help is giving the player a few moments and hope to escape the arm. Ie hitting the arm with a shovel to free yourself or your teammate. Horrifying monster sounds once the arm comes out or directly before can also help get someone to scream. If they instantly die and can’t survive it there are many players that won’t react as much. Hopefully not overstepping as I love the concept

If you do want audio for it, I would recommend bone crushing sound, as if their skull is being crushed before being dragged inside

I'll also try to remake the vent noises to match the ones you made so I can have some clean one to play whenever I need to for immersion

(also if the vent sounds are the warning and someone is using LR then even the monsters about to spawn vent sound will cause PTSD)

just a question, would it be possible to add a config option for how many times the walker needs to touch you to send you to the stairs? we've been playing with this mod since the walker was added and so far nobody has seen the stairs because there isn't enough time for 4 attacks. I could once force it to happen by setting the spawn weight really high and waiting inside until midnight, but never again.

it commonly happens when two people join at the same time (even in vanilla), if u use the QuickQuitToMenu mod you can do Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Q to go back to the main menu and reconnect without having to restart ur game

player.log seems to imply they're spawned normally, but they're the only enemy with 0 enemy power
so once the level hits power cap they're a guaranteed spawn

The stairs are a death sentence yes. There's a wiki on the mod page if you want to know about the walker a little bit more. The watcher is the only entry needed to be added.
For the dev mode I need to add extension to it for my new ai script. That's the reason why it's not showing currently.
For the watcher it can only have one instance of itself. And likes to wander from vents to vents if there's too much inactivity around him. Might be why sometimes it's hard to spot him.
I think they mentioned the animation not playing on the client. Though it might be due to some desync.
