#Devs, do not create polls on Discord.

It's insane to create polls on Discord regarding game dev feedback. Player types are completely skewed among those who use Discord and only represent a tiny fraction of the playerbase when it comes to preferences and gameplay. I know MFG has a numbers guy, whom I've seen on a recent stream. Bro, where are you? Wake the fuck up man.

Same goes for listening to streamer feedback. Might as well go to McDonald's and ask for health tips.

I think they should also at least make a poll in game like how schedule one dose it. So you get a poll of the actual players playing the game.

Perhaps an in game way to access voting forms? Or a link specifically to discord to vote. Rather than forcing it can be a button in the top right that highlights once when the patch rolls out to show the player it now exists.

EFT also used to hold votes on Twitter to decide the direction of game updates, but their current approach is to post polls in-game, and players who participate can receive some in-game rewards. This is a common practice.

Yea this kind of stuff needs to be in-game

This discord is full of weirdos. I'm aware that I'm also in this discord.

The pool is just another line of feedback that is compared to any other feedback. No one sane in the business would base research on one source only.

Them making a poll in the discord is just them seeking specific feedback on few specific things. By no means is it a bad thing to have additional inputs

you get opperatordrewski spewing some bullshit about how he took 4 hours to attempt to ambush someone with an ai kit just for his plans to be foiled
