you're better off having a regional SOS button if shit hits the fan for other players to try and help you

This specific suggestion just isn't compatible with the health system at all. An arbitrary death timer makes literally zero sense.

Death is already very easy to avoid, in general. And it's also very easy to recover your stuff if you do die. Having some magical get-out-of-jail-free card doesn't add anything beneficial to the game and it undermines the "every move matters" mantra in a huge way.
