#High tier ammo damage - needs fixing

Alright, dev guys, you just need to address the elephant in the room - the high tier bullets damage is compete unrealistic garbage. the guy in tier III armor should not take 3 M855A1 bullets in the torso from like 20 meters and then run away like it was a bruise. Post kill cam showed all 3 wounds were penetrations. He should be dead or near dead right after the 1st hit. Overpenetartion concept, a lot of people in the community mention, justifying this behavior - is a bull dang, it just does not work like that... Take a look at this video where HP and M855 bullets were tested on different ranges. Yes, M855 penetrates the target easily, but the shockwave damage to torso organs will be so devastating that no Lamang thug, should he be on adrenaline or drugs, will survive it and be able to roam around. It's just really frustrating that you have to spend the entire 30 round mag of 855a1 on 3 dudes near some forgotten shack in biker vests, cause they won't "JUST. F*CKING. DIE!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xQ6zMpltZs

5.56×45mm is one of the most widely used rifle cartridges on earth — but what does its real lethality look like from point-blank distance out to 125 yards?
In this video, we break down the ballistic behavior of 5.56 at close and intermediate ranges, focusing on velocity loss, fragmentation thresholds, yaw behavior, and temporary/ permanent wo...

I provided a quick description of the issue at the link above, and while yes the standard Thug shouldnt take several dozens of rounds (Has to do with the Blood pool all enemies and we have) I would reference you to instances such as Vietnam (similar to Lamang) in which drugged enemies would keep pushing even after taking multiple rounds to the torso. Head and Heart are the ideal kill location, otherwise use Hollowpoint to cause more internal damage and kill faster.

games need balance, and the M855 is not the answer for all targets...unless you have enough ammo or take accurate shots.

They just dont want it to be fixed obviously, this is a sci-fi game! Dont mention m855a1, even the 7.62x54 wont do anything good. Ai can take 7 bullets and still run like the Flash

  1. Nah, that's not the balance, it's a bull crap. The balance is that this ammo wears the gun like crazy, yeah, I accept it. But otherwise, what's the point of using high tier ammo then?

  2. Secondly, there are big BUTs in wound conditions, mate. Yeah, if we hit stomach, drugs would delay his death for about 20-30 minutes (IRL). BUT if we hit the lung - oh boy, the lung just explodes due to hydrostatic shockwave. It's simple physics and body mechanics. Furthermore, if the thug is drugged he will die even faster, lol. First, he will start drowning immediately (in his own blood, yeah), but okay that's not instant death, BUT his heart keeps pumping blood like crazy, oxygenation level drops critically, so the brain just suffocates and shoots down, and that cannot be fixed by any drug, be it fenethylline, meth or any other handcrafted PAS. The death is a matter of 15-60 seconds (IRL). And in-game pelvic wounds are even more ridiculous. IRL getting couple of hits there immediately brakes pelvic bones and just drops you on the ground, you JUST CANT run physically, even if the pain center is drugged. But no, our terminators are running around like champs.

  3. So, summarizing, those time boxes should be tweaked and implemented in the game, cause now it's just a f*cking circus, which is not that fun to play. You are always outnumbered, so better equipment and ammo performance should be your advantage. Devs are tweaking bots behavior to make it more complicated (and that is fair actually, and I like it - except some rare cases, when they can spot you in the complete dark from like 30 meters in the forest after you firing just 1 suppressed shot to kill 1 of thugs), but they somehow forget to tweak bots killability, which rather makes you to be that one shouting in the screen "JUST! F@CKING! DIE!"

At current, even with AI that can tank insane amount of rounds its not hard to actually kill them and stay alive. My only "death" so far was to losing connection with the server and not being able to reconnect.

Should also make it so the AI starts with lower tier SP ammo and that scales as you get into more difficult zones

Those would be the much more appropriate place for this, not the community support section
