So I know everyone wants to see a bunch of new optics added to the game, but I think, as of right now, we could really benifit the dynamic of the Early-Mid-Game tier with more retro styled AR stuff. Let me elaborate.
In figure 1, we can see the Aimpoint 2000 mounted on a Delta Operator's CAR-15 with underslung M203. The Aimpoint 2000 Is an absolute icon in terms of the late 80's-Early 90's tactical stuff.
In Figure 2, we see the M16A4 set up with a EoTech 552, which would be another good, fairly retro addition.
In Figure 3, we see the a few things I would absolutely love to see added. Going from left to right: 1st, we see an M16A2/A3. This would be a very simple addition, all we would need to see is a handguard or two that are compatible with the 20" barrel with the Front Sight and an A2 Stock. 2nd, we see the FN Minimi, AKA the M249 SAW, which, admittedly would be an awesome weapon to see in the game, especially the retro ones as pictured. 3rd weapon of note, the M60 AKA "The Pig", a backbreakingly heavy 7.62x51 NATO General Purpose Machine Gun, this could be a weapon that actively encourages team play, by actively requiring a squad to efficiently carry enough ammo for the weapon system. Last, and one of the most realistic asks I can see in this picture as far as weapons go, the M16A2/A3 with M203 and the Handguard for the M203. THIS WOULD FUCK to have in the game. M203s would be an amazing late-game way of having a ranged grenade.
The other thing, I'd like to see more varied retro Vest/LBV Combo's like shown in the pictures. The Delta ProTec Helmets for a lightweight night vision mount with some drip, the PASGT helmets with Covers and Vests, the ALICE LBV's that have WAY more pouches than the Vietnam ones. The 203 LBV would also be a dope vest to see added.
#A focus on retro Optics and Parts- (Hear me out)

Didn't even need to read. Yes plz. Gib aimpoint 1000 and gib gooseneck
I would also like to add, we could also see the M1, M1A1 and M1928A1 Thompson, as well as the Stevens model 77, M1 Carbine, M1 Garand, M1918A2 Browning Automatic Rifle. Also, a really good "Super Caliber" AKA "One-Shot-Everything Round" could be adding a Winchester 1873-1891 in .45-70 Gov't.
All mentioned, aside from the lever action, were used in South-East Asia by America, South Korea, South Vietnam, Viet Cong, and later were seized by the PAVN.
Here we see a Stevens Model 77e.
Here we can see a Thompson of unknown type, (Appears to be an M1/M1A1 with the Foregrip of a 1928) being used by US Army Personnel
Here we can see ROK forces in Vietnam with the M1 Garand.
Here we can see a US Marine Corps Engineer outside a tunnel enterence with an M1 Carbine.
And here we can see South Vietnamese forces using both the M1 Carbine, and the M1918A2 BAR.
Also more to the original point, here is an example of Delta Force during Acid Gambit wearing Pro-Tec Helmets.
As well as further Tactical drip from Delta Force's "C" Squadron during the battle of Mogadishu.
I think adding all that would be a bit excessive. Keep it to early 90s-2000's retro would be fine.
I do agree, I was mainly thinking later on when they are basically just adding more guns to expand the existing sandbox. The main things I want are for sure the M16A2 Parts, the Aimpoint 1000 and 2000, and the integrated surefire flashlight polymer handguards for the CAR-15/AR-15 build, and the M203 with the retro heat shield hand guard option. That and the ALICE PASGT LBV.
I think the pasgt will come since they did add the helmet
I saw the helmet, I just would like to see some covers for them. M81 (the Lord's Flannel), 3CD (DCU), and maybe Choco Chip Desert just because they look dope. They wouldn't blend in worth ass, but I mean I run the 3CD pants anyways.
Also, another thing that could be added pretty easily for some retro tomfoolery, the Colt SPR Aka the Mk12 Mod1 as seen here:
Also another retro flashlight option for the AR:
Bumping my thread because I want my damn A2 M16
