The last few days i cleared the Pha Lang Airfield almost 20 times. No boss.
A few times another players from another fractions where already there and killed him.

It gets really annoying. I know some people were lucky and killed him the first visit but for me its a pain right now. Hunter Paradise also takes me a few days, most of the time he was already dead, waited and waited but evertime a few other players where there with me.

A boss trigger would be nice that when i`m there i can trigger his spawn or some info that he is dead already.

Bosses can spawn in multiple locations now. This is indicated by the circles on the map.

If you're only looking at the airfield, you're only looking at a third of the possible boss spawn locations.

With this change, I've found boss kills to be A LOT easier because while the main POI might be more heavily traveled, for most areas, the boss has only a 33% chance to even be there.

I find boss tasks easy. With three locations they could be at I just circle these locations and never hop servers. It never took longer than 1h to get bosses, even in Tier 3 areas.

It actually feels like if our presence is triggering a boss spawn in one of three places if we stick to one server and start checking all three locations.

I think there's also a big exploitation hole with you triggering a boss spawn. You could just roll with someone and let them kill the boss to farm keys.

#

And what happens if 2 people with the same quest hit the same area? Does the game spawn 2 bosses? If not, then we're in the same exact situation. If so, that seems REAL awkward - esp if you take it to an extreme scenario with "many" people doing the same.

they won't set up personal triggers like key spawns for quest for players, because to much work for the dev's to slap on top of other work. 😂

#

But if it has to be boss kill then I could see the idea of the usual stupid kill number amount of bots, look for other bull shit task, then marked location random part of the zone spawn only showing up for the player that has the quest progression done of where the boss is. While keeping current three locations of 1/3 of a chance of the boss spawning in for the general players.

That or we get new bosses that has the same end goal type of shit but won't drop the special loot room keys.

I generally agree with the others on this - there's enough locations for the bosses to spawn in the T2 areas this isn't an issue.

With that said, I do think the T3 areas are a little more problematic, particularly Fort Narith, where the boss spawns are virtually in the path of all major ingress points to the base or near major loot locations (such as the HQ). That means they're often dead if someone is running that area for loot.

I'm not sure a trigger is necessary for bosses, but in the T3 areas, I feel they could be spaced out a fair bit more than they already are.

I took care of FN over the course of 2 days with maybe 3 runs. I did do a bit of proactive hopping just to find a server where I didn't see anyone from my faction there (obviously not a guarantee) and got him on that 2nd day.

Not the worse - and obviously I could do some opportunistic looting while there when I couldn't find him up and alive.

Didn't feel like a burden.

I will say that for FN/Buran, I do often find him chilling at the hangers whenever I head there to loot.

He was right in the courtyard in front of HQ last night for me. Buddy gets around.

#

But I've also popped him on the runway.

I even now start a FN trip by going to Lima 1 to check the hangers first too. Indeed he gets his cardio.

He's in the HQ and HQ Courtyard, with both spawn areas pretty much right on top of each other - both are near one of the prime loot spots.

The Hanger is a little more distant, but still right next to the Delta 1 entry point.

I've had the mission personally about 2 weeks now, and only seen him live once (someone else bagged him before I could though).

If he's up top, you just really need to be the first one in - because anyone that's going to loot HQ needs to clear all the AI out and he'll be collateral.

I have seen him on the roof top like once or twice, scared me a bit

Moving one of them to the dorms might be helpful. Still "in the line of fire", but right now you have 2 that are effectively "the same spawn" for practical purposes.
