Since 0.4 dropped there's more and more complaints about going to a POI and it being completely cleared of AI, all loot gone, and then the repop of loot and AI not being really synced. So you can have AI in the POI but all the crates are still looted...
Should/can we get some kind of cue or in game system to figure out if a POI is (at that exact moment) in a state worth checking out or not?
I'd be against something on the map, as it's already too full of everything with the task icons and circles. Add the red PvP circle and in Warfare it's probably worse (until that gets reworked).
Maybe a Service from a vendor?
Tie it to a level/when we unlock that specific Vendor. Maybe even which vendor depending on region? Depending on if you've discovered the POI already (or a specific spot in the POI - i.e. the HQ building in FN)
Something like "Pay X amount of cash/find some items (another use for the random loot) to get a scouts/recon/snitch/contact report", and then either have a single type of report with a degree of clarity, or RNG slightly vague multiple options
"My man came back to me saying he saw some fighting"/"Apparently someone stormed the place and left no one standing"/"They got hit hard and there's still sounds of gunfire"
You get the gist.....
Wanna hit MS or TB or FN? Pay Turncoat and/or find X amount of jewelry/CCs etc. , he might have people on the inside of LAF
Wanna hit BL, YBL, Aux Base? Pay Artisan and/or find X amount of motor oil, tool sets, lamp oil etc.
So people don't feel like they wasted time going somewhere only to find a place more dead than Phousai Village.....if they wanna use this Service
If it's bartering/fetching - it gives that loot category (more) value, and when crafting and hideout/bunk is implemented, it adds even more beacuse then you have to decide not only between completeing a fetch task, this Service, but also crafting and upgrading.
