Blueprints wiped from vendor

After getting the MCX BP in Midnight Sapphire I successfully managed to bring it to Banshee. But one day after the item was magically wiped for the vendor. The task popped again in my list, because of task rotation I suppose. But this time it had no reward in description.

I decided to go back to MS and get it again. Unfortunately I died in the process and the task has been cancelled.

So my question is : do I need to unlock MS area to cycle tasks and get it back, or can I randomly loot the magazine like I did the first time ? I don't understand why I unlocked it but it was wiped from banshee.

After furthermore investigation on Discord + Reddit, I suspect the following causes to break the blueprints tasks :

• "After a weapon blueprint mission refreshes, previously unlocked purchase permissions disappear." - from another user
• Vendor level up may also wipe the exclusive content you unlocked (boss weapons, blueprints etc)

I also think triggering the Blueprints by grabbing the magazine in early game generates kind of an "area conflict" where the task starts it's own repeatable rotation. And it seems we can't fix the problem until we reach the level for that area; to rotate quests

i got the same problem with DDM4. Though the quest doesnt appear anymore and even if I look at the magazine is fort narith nothing happens, what ahould I do?

@tropic tangle@languid spire Im not a dev or a mod but I have some information after doing so light researching.

There seems to currently be an issue where as you said if the task refreshes it causes the blueprint to "disapear" from the vendors, AFAIK the devs are aware of this, I have found many many people report this over in #👾︱report-a-bug and on the subreddit too.

The blueprint tasks as a whole are currently bugged to hell with mutliple issues coming from different people, The only thing you can do sadly is just report the bug in #👾︱report-a-bug to bump up the priority of the issue and wait for a patch to fix it.

I know it sucks but the devs arent a large team and with the overflow of tickets and bug reports they currently have since 0.4 means they will probably wait for a mass bug fix patch rather than patch the game one at a time, it will hopefully be soon tho 0.4 has been out for a little while now

Exact, had the same results from my research. I'll try to reroll the quest but no idea if it is area restrained or general task list (means I need to unlock MS tasks). I've already reported via in game reporting. Thank you for your message

From my understanding, each location has tasks on rotation, so when you complete one tasks another gets picked from a list and the rest get bumped up in priority, thats why sometimes tasks dont reapear straight away

yes, but one strange thing :

• I am in early game and have not unlocked MS reputation at all (and tasks)
• I do an MS run and grab the MCX
• Turn in the magazine and purchase one
• The task rerolls in MS area list WITHOUT doing any MS quests -> lost the ability to purchase
• I gave it a try and died
• Since I don't have MS unlocked I'll not be able to get it back I think

So my guess is, by grabbing organically the magazine in early game, it triggers a quest you shouldn't have, so you have a one chance to unlock it. I you fail or have this actual bug, you would have to make progress, unlock midnight sapphire and reroll tasks.

So the initial task trigger by discovering the magazine is unique. And the next reroll is auto, or bound to quests from other areas.

You can start these quests the first time but interacting with the magazines yes, even if you dont have the location unlocked, I did the same for tiger bay when I was low level :)

And in your case, did the quest rerolled alone in TB section ?

Yeah the task rerolled once I unlocked tiger bay, I believe that may be one of the bugs as the game "forgot" I already completed the quest

It treated the task as ive never completed it before, got a first time reward for it lol

And I suppose you lost the purchase ability at the moment it popped in your list right ?

Yeah everytime the task re-rolls it removes the camo until you complete it again, might be a bug im unsure

It seems that they wanted to add it as a permanent addition in the shop, so either the task should not be repeatable or it should not wipe the vendor when it does.
