#FPS Drop
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Ok I see your point, but while I am playing this for so long Im thinking that it has to be the optimization of the server that is causing too much fps drop
yeah i think something that had to do with the actual server issue yesterday caused the performance drop since it affected everyone

This is true, Ive set my Frame Gen settings to use 3d app settings and im back to almost the same fps as i was before. It was just nvidia app udate problem, which didnt show up as a new driver update per say but broke the app config files
@hollow condor this solved it for me
Ohhhh so you are on the latest nvidia driver app
there was something updating in nvidia and i see minor changes to the setting layout in nvidia although it didnt ask me about the update nor there is any information about its update but it checks out with the solution above, you can test it because i just confirmed it first by switching frame gen on and off and seeing no diffrence in fps meaning it was the frame gen just not working, you can search frame gen in last 24h posts on this discord to confirm other had it too
my fps drops when aim whit scope 2x 4x 8x...
Imma try this but now im doing it
my fps still doesnt reach like 150 stable like it used to but its doing 140 now and before i changed that fg settings i was running native fps no matter what dlss settings i had on, so outside of that there is still like 10% fps drop but it might be secondary stuff like server issues etc
We are seeing reports that the issue may be linked to:
Driver: 595.97
Nvidia App Version: 11.0.7.228
If you updated recently and your performance got much worse, try rolling back the driver.
Quick tutorial :#1490343900400058460 message
@dusky star i have the dlss frame generation disabled and I get 60 fps, if I enable it I always get around 60 fps
i have 4070 super
Sounds like the DLSS preset override bug. its casued by the above.
should I change the dlss preset?
reset it to defualt, then reboot, then overide to K and try again
here?
but the preset k in Super Resolution?
I have thw same problem. it started yesterday after the servers went down the last time. having 150-180 fps to having 60 fps.
I ahve tryed to go back to the previous driver version but still no mayor difference.

You can try nuking the shaders. #1382351418824069280
does this solve the frame generation problem?
No thats the DLSS presets, you need to change them to defualt the to something then back to defualt.
now i have reset driver settings from nvidia app for gzw, but i can't change which frame generation preset
in the nividia app under the graphics options
this?
no, the one below, its a preset bug, (if you have it)
@dusky star so i have to change dlss super resolution mode?
Finally back at the 100 fps
I just tweaked the nvidia app shit like I tweaked the "DLSS Overide presets" then I click preset k and reboot, and switched to Use 3d app settings and enabled again on the DLSS Overide presets and set my shader cache from 100
what gpu do you have?
Nvidia 4050 RTX
Can you send me your NVIDIA settings pvt?
The only thing I do is by tweaking the DLSS which those 3 on top and shader cache I change it to 100GB and reboot my laptop
Yes its a bug, you have to swap it and change it back for it to work
Now if I have frame generation disabled I get 90 fps, if I enable it 120, is that correct?
