#Get rid of the AR15 meta

i would like to see more weapon variety in 0.5, instead of players consistently defaulting to one of the AR 15 variants. In 0.4, we will receive the L403A1, which is again another AR15 platform rifle. currently, it feels like AR15 based weapons dominate the selection.

my personal favorite in 0.3 was the SVD. however, fully modded it required significantly more effort and resources to make it "viable". in comparison, most AR15 variants are much easier to obtain, easier to modify, and generally more accessible to players.

because of this, it become the meta choice. their accessibility, availability, and ease of use give them a clear advantage over other weapon types, which reduces the incentive to experiment with alternatives.

for this reason, adding more diverse weapon platforms in 0.5 could help improve gameplay variety and reduce the current dominance of AR15 platform rifles

I don't forsee any notable change with 0.4 tbh, a lot of players value extreme accuracy, high fire rates and as close to zero recoil as possible.

Which the AR platform uniquely is closest to.

And now we get an even earlier game automatic AR-15 platform

The A2 would've been a more unique platform, with 3 round burst

And we're getting tons of new attachments/parts on top of that - for all platforms from what I can see

Give SMG on start instead of M4

Make M4 Rarer

Increasing the price of ar-15 type weapons and ammo would be the way to go here.

The fact that it is low recoil and higher accuracy in general is just a feature of what is a good family of weapons.

If ak platform weapons were better people would complain about that instead.

Of course, I'm just pointing out making things more expensive is a way of balancing what we have.

Witht this current patch sure, but it might not be a valid option in 0.4
