Blood Transfusions

i think having an item that allows for the transfer of one persons blood to another, or to refill blood bags would be an awesome way to always make sure you can get your buddies up from coma.

Not only that, but it's a bit more complicated than just drawing blood out your arm and putting it in someone else.

i mean it seems we do based on the fact i can use the same blood bag on myself as i can on a person to pick them up.

but considering there's more down votes than up votes i take it people hate this idea so i guess its a dumb idea, my bad i guess.

Blood bags don't have Blood in. They have Plasma, which is stripped of all the platelets which define blood type.

That's why they're universal, and why this suggestion wouldn't work, even if you ignored the high probability of contamination of blood supply and infections.

Blood bags are vendor only tbh, there is no OSP blood

this is convenient, imagine you having to go around with bloodbags of each type just so you can ressurect someone, in dayZ there are bloodtypes and no one walks around collecting blood or with bloodbags

You....do understand how blood types work for storage, donation, and application, right?

Even if the Blood bags weren't containing Plasma, if they were exclusively bags containing O- blood, it wouldn't matter your blood type, as O- is the only Blood Type to be a Universal Donor, granted only less than 10% of the earth's population have this type.
