#Take the single buzzing fly around my head out of the game.

It’s unnecessary and makes people not want to play solely on the fact that it’s annoying. It is not immersive or realistic.

iirc, the context is that it happens if you are camping in the bushes for certain amount of time.

Yeah but it’s literally all the time in game, regardless of what’s happening.

Make campers annoyed is what dev intended. And it looks like it worked. 😂

I don't notice it. It must be me not camping. Even when I play slow I didn't hear it too much. Or when waiting for heli there is not much of it.

That's weird. As MaVoy said, I also never happened to hear it unless I put my character in the bush for long time. Seems like a bug report worthy of case.

It could be a bug. Sound seems buggy recently. Yesterday my character was a ninja skilled level, I was walking around TB Mall with no foot steps sound.
The other day every time I left Bronco the reverb of that room was following me for some time.

Bugs in the jungle feels like the objectively most immersive and realistic thing ever, no?

I don't know, but could it be the in-game headphones? Quads are probably best against “insects.” Personally, I only play GSSh-01, and my mosquitoes are LOUD! 😂

Bugs in the jungle being not immersive is like reindeer being not immersive during trip to Norway.

If you want to reduce mosquito noise, you should use quads. Merry Christmas, everyone.

I feel like quads are the best choice. These helps to estimate shots, feet, voice distance the best. Works great with insects.

Or just use the noise cancelling mode on your chosen headset for brief respite.

At least when not about to get in a fight, anyway.

But personal choice - I prefer the Razors. Cheap, easy to get hold of, and doesn't muffle everything too much (Quads) or amp it up to 11 (GSsh).

I think all the ambient nature sound can be reduced by half. The intensity relative to close sounds is jarring and disorienting. The game definitely needs some EQ work.

Wasn't it implemented to discourage people from camping in PVP?

The longer you stay in one place the more annoying it gets.

A friend of mine told me what the jungles of Thailand are really like. He said you couldn't sit anywhere for a rest, you'd be swarmed with Ants. Maybe they could change it to that. The longer you stayed in place the more they would crawl on you. Lol

You'd see one ant first crawl and disappear across your screen, then another about 10 seconds later. You could keystroke to wipe it away, but if you are laid down or crouched for too long, say 45 -60 seconds, you'd be biten to shit and have to apply a treatment for fire ant bites.

This would begin to affect your operation ability due to intoxicated effects.
