#Idea for long range scopes

Yes!! Something like that would be amazing!
In the meantime, the PSO scopes on the SVD have a rangefinder built into the reticle that is accurately scaled and usable in game for zeroing
Also in the meantime, you can use the ping marker in the map to tell you the distance 😅 I hope they do put some range finders in game
Hopefully after they increase the 400m render cap
That’s exactly it though! You can’t fully tell the distance from looking at them like some range finders would help with
Lots of optics have built in ways to estimate range based on average body proportions. And since there is no option to change height and build in-game they work remarkably well.
this is the most important. Till then no reason to add new scopes etc. I always love sniping in games but for some reason in this game i don´t like it at all.
coz of the 400m limitation lol
but soon! hopefully!
its not just that. Somehow it feels too artificial. Don´t know how the explain it but maybe how the movement is in this game it feels wierd to placing the shots.
The movement is real janky imo, you could be perfectly lined up one second and the next the guy has moved 5m to the left with lightning speed. And it was a similar issue Tarkov struggled with for ages before finally introducing their inertia mechanic making sudden movements/turns much more realistic.
I’ve always enjoyed sniping and I ended up getting decent at it on this game but I could never do it solo and needed a spotter
This needs to change! __400m is nothing on this map. __
We REALLLY BAD need a setting to improve this! 🫡
hopefully in future updates
whenever im sad about the render distance, i just remind myself that at least its not Stalker 2 and its 100m
Man I finally got stalker 2 on my ps5 and it runs pretty smoothly
With a 100 m render distance for AI.
Last time I went sniping in this game, I was at the gazebo behind MS, and the hotel, which is about 450m away looked like Minecraft. Has the render distance increased somewhat?
Nope not yet
