We run events based on turnout and GM availiability to do them. We did always do one set of EU and one set of US timed events, however turnout and participation of EU timed ones went so low this late into wipe that we put a moratorium on them for the time being. I still run EU times PvE custom servers Sunday, but thats because it only requires me to boot the server, so its not taking a bunch of work to only have a couple people use it.
Things will pick back up again for .4, but as these events are all community run by GMs who volunteer their time, not by MFG, it doesnt make sense to have force them to put a bunch of effort trying to run events when people arent taking advantage of them.
We consolidated down to those times when more people actually participate, and when GMs are more able to run them

yes, DG or I run what were gunna start calling "Sunday Funday" (currently called Training Day) where we open up a custom PvE server, with everything unlocked, and boosted stash and cash, with no vendor purchase limits. This lets people hop on, go anywhere, try anything, without effecting their live server account. Great chance to just fuck around in a sandbox and try things
and if you run out of money, you can leave and join again and it refreshes everything

those events are how i figured out my preferred route into the hotel by just going and dying over and over on different routes to find the one that worked best for me

so ground zero itself will not be released until the game goes full release. Weather or not MFG decides to hint at things or not up till then im not sure. The community has alot of speculation, and some limited things have been hinted at (anomalies, a secret other russian faction working in the zone, etc) but nothing to really give away the structure or goals or anything of the zone

happy to help. It generally is an awesome and helpful community. Youll find trolls in it, thats unavoidable, but it really has a good base of people who are happy to answer questions when they come up.
