Is it just me who got super confused why I couldn't open the room for the quest?
I ended up doing the parkour through the window to complete the quest. XD
Which was also fun but in case anyone agrees with me please comment here

I realise it's something else about the UI that was weird.
"Open" was a valid option when not having the key and it is locked, and you can try to open but it will do the animations then grey out the open button.
If the room is unlocked but closed, you have the exact same UI.
If the room is locked and you have the key, that's when the UI changes, unlock is available and open is greyed out.
