#Gear presets?

The proper gun builder and workbench takes time to develop... and it doesn't solve the issue of having to manually gear up every time you go out with the rest of your kit, but what if you could save a preset "bundle" of gear that would get automatically built from traders with a +5% cost of a builders fee?... You could unlock more as you level like 1 at level 10 then 2 at level 20 then 3 at 30, the preset would cover every single slot on your character including keys then just dump the rest back to inventory to sort later.

This way there is incentive to build from scratch if you want to experiment or save money with a budget kit, but if you're doing good and want to burn money you could use your presets.

This is also way easier to develop than a proper gun bench and synchronizes well with it once it finally comes, promoting preset "bundles" that might not have the weapon, which you would more manually build specifically and save a bit on the building fee.

I believe the lack of there being presets is to simulate the actual time it takes to rekit, rather than being able to hit essentially a single button and be completely fully geared again.

right the builder fee is to represent the trader having it ready for you

id still use it with a 20% fee sometimes tbh lol

Another thing that would make it worth it is if it specifically had your tactical, zeroing and scope positions saved

My response to that would be why would the trader have an already built up kit essentially waiting for you when you could do that yourself.

I would like to be able to build my gun inside the vendor page, like if I build my gun at the store with vendor's parts. so I can check compatibility by mounting the pieces and buy the built gun

@tacit vale If you imagine that our vendors are at the FOB with all their parts in bulk, in crates, nothing prevents me from asking him to assemble the weapon I want with the parts he's selling, before paying for it. I will really appreciate it instead of buying all parts then looking for them in my stach, then assembly, then going back to the vendor because I forget the fkg mlok for the laser 😂

Having a sort of gunsmith is fine to be able to assemble weapons, but no vendor is going to build/hold a kit for you. That doesn't sound right.

sure I imagine myself building the gun on the table in front of him checking the parts and The mechanical functioning of the weapon and giving the money for everything I took

If I'm remembering correctly, the devs have stated they're not going to add in custom preset builds.

otherwise, 100% agree with gear presets in custom server.
because sometime We ask players to equip themselves in a specific way and to use a specific equipment. Be able to make presets to save time on preparation and make sure that the designated players are using the right equipment requested
