I posted this in the wrong place so I'm posting it here as instructed.
If I stealth-kill an AI at night and there is another AI nearby, it will accurately track the player's position and return fire.
If the AI doesn't see the muzzle flash in the dark, shouldn't it start searching for the enemy?
Because when someone throws a stone in the dark, you look for the person who threw it, right?
It's possible that they could hear the sound of the suppressor, but I think the return fire was too accurate. Unless it was close range, I think it would be difficult to accurately determine the player's location just by hearing the sound in a night environment.
I don't play PvP, but if you were in the same situation and the other person was a player instead of an AI, do you think that player would be able to retaliate accurately on the spot? I think the player would probably do blind fire, then hide in the shadows and look for them??
