#No armbands on your personal PMC

How does seeing your own armbands have anything to do with stream sniping?
they know youre in pvp immediately, i know its small but its something
the second one is really not that much of a reason as the first one is, there is no reason to be able to see you're own armbands other than a tell that you're in pvp
But every time you open your inventory they see "warfare" or "joint ops" at the top and that tells them all they need to know.
Which is why some of them have those areas blacked out at all times
I don't think most care tbh
Those armbands are cool (at least the idea is good) and they made them look cool in NV but I personally would remove them entirely from the game.
Let's acknowledge two things:
- The vast majority of streamers (that are likely to be stream sniped) are in PvP
- It becomes obvious VERY quickly watching how they interact with any other player which mode they're in - especially when they shoot someone else
It might have something to do with the fact that they look a bit like:
If he says it'll help maybe it'll help, but still it's not like you can chose the server. You could be server hopping for days trying to get into the same server that the streamer is on.
i just want to not see them on my arms when i run around
there is no reason i can think of for your player to see their own arm bands
The reason you see them is because they're on your body.
I would hope most people would disagree with me if I said "there's no reason your player should see the gloves they're wearing".
I’m saying if they can turn them off for enemies why can’t they turn them off for your character
It ruins the whole aesthetic personally
Its an unconscious reminder. You see them on yourself because you see them on all members of your faction. You're part of the faction and seeing them on your pmc reminds you to use the IFF system.
At least make them not 17” thick on your damn arms. They’re ugly as shit.
