I would emphasize the flip to center functionality, mainly for night vision usage.

The unity style mounts are designed for nightvision, the standard eotech mounts are designed for non-night vision usage.

They should added 3x not 5x .. otherwise it become bestest sistem of the game .. and should be cost over 5.5-6k .. should be risky buy it .. and then that some seconds for switching from magnifier to eotech otherwise will be system killer for everything others

Eotech (or any other holo/red dot sight) which are non magnified (x1) with x5 magnifier will give you 1-5x so basically very simillar to 1-4x Specter we already have in game.

LPVOs 1-6x that have all zoom levels between these values are much "better" technically by being more flexible.

Also for a cost near the price of some NVGs, small backpack space and low weight they would be basically another valuable to sell.

And people complain why everyone in PvP is using "boring" stuff that is easy to come by

we need more stuff and the stuff should be available so people can choose it rather than play with generic picked up gear because they fear to loose the more rare stuff

Gear fear is always going to be a thing, and it won't go away until people feel that they can get equivalent gear relatively easily.

For me, it's not about being afraid to lose gear — I really don’t care if I die. What’s frustrating is that losing gear just means repeating the same grind again, with no real progression outside of loot. That’s exactly why I feel the game needs more long-term systems — so deaths don’t feel like a total reset every time.

I'm gonna jump on the 3x only train. We've already got the Russian 2.5, the single zoom 5x Spitfire and the 1-6x scopes. The Spitfire, to me, is very dependent on the environment you're going to be in ( I carry a spare eotech when Im using it ) and like others said, 5x begins to negate other optics. For balance, I'd go with a 3x modifier on the flip sights.

We absolutely need these and canted optics, plus PVS14 weapon mounts.

Magnifiers would actually be a good bandage solution for the Picture-in-Picture performance drop magnified optics use.
They would at least allow players to have non-pip level performance, while still having the option to zoom in.

I mean they will use PiP on magnifier anyway so it'd be like passive aim then switch to magnified scope performance wise
and the only fix for PiP performance woe is either getting better pc or not using it at all

true, but the current issue with all magnified optics is that even the 1x times zoom, aka, basically the same as if you were using a holo sight would at least give you the non-pip performance when your magnifier is flipped off.
