I’m tired of enjoying my pve hanging with friends doing tasks looking for loot then having a pvp player show up, speed run the entire map looting everything just to regain their losses because they suck at pvp

I think vendor lvls and completing tasks should transfer but not loot, you can come to pve, farm the cops and have a full stash of weapons and gear, go lose them in pvp and complete the cycle again. Pvp really has no loss at this point

This is something tarkov does better, as much as I hate to say it

I agree its a bit odd you can farm pve for gear to use in PVP but in the meantime, just loot faster. Im sure this is very much something MFG know is a thing

Ill be honest though, i know everyone has different experiences in the game but was this just a one time thing you saw? Because ive put in about 90ish hours since WoW dropped and ive not seen anything like this on the pve side.

Regaining kits on pvp servers much more easier, as each bot on captured cop have kited m4, im not sure it was bad pvp player stealing your precious loot, btw cops crates spawn bs most of the time, i dont think its even good way for regearing

Most of the good stuff comes from the defending AI/players on pvp. The gear crates are generally p mid like buddy said

I’ve only been playing PvE this update, yet I still rush to the crate for a better chance it hasn’t been looted yet. But with 47 other players in the lobby, of course the crates are going to be picked clean no matter if they are getting gear for PVP, or they are PVE loot goblins

Well I speed run the hell out of some areas. I use to treat fort narith, tiger bay and MS as the bane of my life but im starting to find it way more enjoyable. I dont particularly speed run those areas due to obvious reasons but places like Pha Lang, Ban Pa, Hunters paradise, sawmill etc are just too easy for me. I want level and unlock my vendors so that I can start more challenging content. I dont PvP but by your standards I must be a PvPer? Sometimes PvPers just want to relax and play through content without looking over their shoulders. Some just want to unlock their vendors for obvious reason. Locking half the community out of PvE because you cant loot a crate is quite frankly absurd. Sorry but not sorry that people aren't waiting on you as if their a waiting que for looting.

An example of something not occurring doesn’t excuse the examples of it occurring, you can say what you want, I said what I said. Its not just that tho, its the fact that pvp feels too easy, farm loot in pve then move to pvp, just to be able to spawn less than a minute away after dying and be able to retrieve your loot again. They should just have pve with engagement free zones that rotate every few hours in game, pve and pvp are practically one in the same currently and I think they should just combine them and have ROE strict areas. Plus most the engagements I’ve had in pvp are usually just one on one anyways maybe 2, no squad play alot of the time, no faction play. The only place such things happen is the occasional run in of 2 squads at a cop or bigger location

Uh.... hate to point this out, but I smell some hypocrisy from the OP.

He says he plays PvP and obviously doesn't mind looting there (given the title of the thread), but then complains he is unable to loot when looting on PvE.... by people doing the exact same thing he is to some extent.

From my experience pve is also somehow made to loot back what you lost in pvp. Having shared stash between the two modes lets you go doing pvp more chill knowing you can loot back new things when you get killed without too much worries and i really like that.

Honestly, I feel like separate PvP and PvE would be for me a lot less gear fear. I have my juicy PvE account, I like to enjoy and I'm not moving anything from it to PvP.
On PvP I play with looted CQ1A and some basic gear.

I feel like the less hungry one is for wining over other players, less need for juicy gear in PvP there is. I did "New neighbours" with basic kit today - well, almost did - I got one tapped at some point by other player, but it was a good kill, respect for the guy - anyway, the most pleasure was to move around tactical from one bush to another. I can't believe how many people just did run next to me or almost over me and didn't see me, while I was crouching or moving prone in more open areas. People put too much faith in gear and run like headles chickens everywhere....

Ultimately though, what this boils down too is "I did the effort to get the loot, someone else just bagged it first". That will happen regardless of what play mode it is, so just seperating them out won't change anything.

I just want to say, seperating the loot probably will have a minor impact if any impact at all.

For me personally, Im playing since day 1, I bought the game strictly for the PvE and this will probably not change any time soon.

Since its not my first wipe and Im pretty experienced with the game, I speedrun basiclly everything until max traders to then just relax, clear TB, FN or MS with my boys and have a good time doing it. Racking up money, collecting keys etc.

Sure its only my side, but believe it or not, not every PvE player is a crouch walking player, not that there is anything wrong with it, Im just saying...

I personally dont care if they would do it, I just think it wouldnt make a huge difference in ppl speed running the low to mid tier content.
