#Clan system

Or just a classic guild system, at the start of each wipe the leader or an officer of the guild (which we could call section or regiment) chooses a faction which will be automatically assigned to the members of it, a text chat specific to this guild would be available as well as the visibility of members online and those even if they are not friends
Yeah something like that, I really just want the ability to play with more than just 3 of my friends. Also, with a community discord like this one it would be nice to be able to have a way to get more new people in one squad.
Real life infantry squads consisting of ~5-6 people for a regular rifle squad, it would be nice to be able to do that on the game too especially now that the AI is insanely tanky compared to last wipe
You can do this now you need to create squad with your friends, join a server, leave the squad and invite other friend outside the server
Thank you for this
Sounds fun but surely it would trivialise most of the map bearing in mind we can get through it solo.
I personally cannot get through midnight saphire solo. skill issue but i am an old veteran that plays with other veterans lol.

Sorry I didn't mean to sound 'git gud' ish lol, I still die enough to the AI and MS is always a pita.
No youre good bro I didnt take it personally

I think the devs factored in the fact that 1 full squad of 4 is 1/4 of total server space for one faction so having a roaming squad of potentially 8 players or even more is a bit OP. And the likelihood that any of the other opposing factions will be able to scrape together a squad of 8 to counter is probably not as easy as one might think. Granted they're ways to overcome this by inviting leaving and inviting more.
At the very least we should have ways for two individual squads to communicate tactically. Map markers, course plotting, etc
It's a pain to get more than 4 people in, as servers tend to be full. Sometimes it takes over an hour to get everyone in (we'd sometimes play in a group of 10-12), as you have to literally pay players to leave the server. We'd drop wads of cash, guns, gear, whatever, to convince people to leave the server to make space. It's a pain but can be done.
You could try "scouting" a server and if there are not enough spaces for the whole contingent, once members start to queue, cancel the queue and deploy, which, theoretically would initiate a fresh server. Then just invite the rest of your guys to the new server 🤷♂️
The issue being there is you can’t tell how many are on the server from other factions which comes into play if I’m correct
True, however you can generally tell it's an empty server by the fact that none of the COPs are claimed...
That is true as well
That's exactly what my group did, we'd scout for a server with barely any cops captured. Don't remember a time it not working.
