So my game crashed (while I was vacuuming one of my tanks), and when I went to reopen it, one of my fish— Mittens, who is supposed to be a white angelfish— suddenly changed to be a banded Severum cichlid? Also, I’m pretty sure the angelfish’s name was Clouds, not Mittens. Who is Mittens, and where did he put Clouds?!?! D:

Would recommend disabling cloud save if you haven't and verifying your files! It may not fix the issue, but it's worth a shot
I do not think it will fix the current fish but it may stop it from happening

Will do when I get a chance! I don’t think cloud save has even enabled for me because it says it keeps failing but who knows

That's what happened to me when my hard scape would switch out, seems steam attempts to use cloud save which corrupts the pre update local files, I have a hunch anyway
When I completely disabled it I haven't had that issue or any issue similar since

I've been messing around with a new save to see if I can get it to happen again for me. went ahead and backed up my files locally as well
