#AI defending is still broken

This update literally changed nothing, people still track back with CMs and CDMs while the CBs and fullbacks overpopulate the 18 yards box, tackle and block everything without having a curser on them at all.

Idk what's going on with the AI situation and why we still talk about this even after months of the game's release, nerf the AI defending properly or just admit you don't want or know how to do it.

On the other hand manual-defending is pure dice roll no matter how good your reads are, this is just so funny, no idea how is this game is being played as an Esport title.

You’re right manual defending is a crapshoot. They definitely Nerfed AI defending though. There’s a huge in noticeable difference on that.

In real life if you know that teams also drop their CDs and CMs into the box it’s called parking in the bus

they just need to remove every AI patch they have done full stop non of them make sense, are fair or we're needed remove them all

It's not the tactics m8, I played with tons of formations with different roles, the way the defense takes shape this year is just the same, that's why the CDMs are not as essential as last year.
Players instantly stack their box if they have no curser on them, at the same time when you manually read a certain play there's a 30% chance you won't get the ball.
Overall, defending in this game requires a fairly limited skill, that's the main reason the game is not fun, it doesn't reward you for making the right decisions, it mainly rewards you if you play the same way over and over again.
And btw, I am not bad at the game, I get 12-14 wins every WL and 900+SR in the Elite division so I know how to win games but the way the defending works this year and last year is just awful, period.
