FC 26 Title Update 1.1.0: A Step Backward from Launch Excellence

The launch version of FC 26 was a breath of fresh air after FC 25's disappointments—fluid, skill-based, and enjoyable. However, Title Update 1.1.0 has severely regressed it to feel like FC 25 2.0. The R1 dribbling nerf combined with buffed jockey/sprint jockey speed creates a double nerf to attacking: gameplay now feels heavy, sluggish, and nearly impossible to break down defenses.
This forces the community into ultra-defensive tactics, killing the fun and skill expression we loved at launch. I've personally lost interest in playing the game, and at this rate, will once again stop playing entirely. The only exploits needing fixes were kick-off goals and corner cheese—those are addressed, but at what cost?
Please urgently revert the dribbling nerf and tone down the jockey buff to restore balanced, enjoyable gameplay. We appreciate your responsiveness—let's make FC 26 shine again.

Everyone should learn to break down defenses properly with real mechanics like passing player locks and triggered runs

Player locks need, need to be taken out the game. Its the dumbest thing ever added. Hopefully EA address this keeper movement as well.

Easy to break down these formations. Very easy. Lots of games ending 5-4

Just play for resets, pass the ball more and actually use real offensive gameplay to win.

You might find enjoyment playing a defensive game I dont and I would say the vast majority of players dont either. This is why EA have actually opened this up and are taking our feedback into consideration more than ever. It really doesnt matter to me I have no problem deleting the game like I did last year if this continues.

bruh the only thing that works now is just run down the line, cut back pass to the midfielder and first time pass into striker. just same pattern of play every time, just like in fc 25. nothing fun about this, pre patch you could actually go through the middle, but now its just sideline cutback simulator

I always preffered FIFA over PES fot its arcade fast paced gameplay where you could build insane attacks and score crazy goals. Leave that changes for authentic mode. Also leave momentum 50/50 for full game in compettive gameplay and its the key.

everyone’s stiff, you can’t dribble anymore, people don’t select their defenders, when you don’t attack in full speed and attack slowly there’s like 10 players at the edge of the box and you have to somehow fiddle your way to score

I really do think that the community has to have some of the blame put on them as well. The majority of players who play this game only play for better rewards. So every game is a must win, so what do you do? Drop back and play counter football. The amount of 2 CDM formations I play now its basically every game and I just have no enjoyment playing a cutback simulator.

Yea I mean they could have slowly adjusted the game but someone said hold on we going all in. There is no harm in making one adjustment and then go from there. instead they fix everything and end up breaking the game in the process doing too much.

Just got to admit that 8-6 score lines were more fun.. running around with cdm and pressing r1 when ball is close to cb is not fun and u cannot get pass cb as the AI does the work… dribbling is ok but the player response is very bad when u do left stick and being jockey speed increased u just have to pass the ball.. no more dribbling is possible or u need top tier cards to make the game fun again

Imo jockey buff is OK, it's just that as you said they nerfed an attacking tool we had against AI low block, so now we are stuck with great jockey, and defensive ai

Is there even a skill gap.. ea wants to make a game where they help casuals to push elite division and they just play cdm formation and r1 defend.. in attack they do run in the wing with pacey wingers and one cutback goal.. game ends with score line 1-0

And I am not the only one who has expressed this but there is something that has happened with the responsiveness while on the ball. Players seem sluggish and heavy even though I know there is no mention to nerfing normal dribbling. I know you are still able to left stick ok but it is not the same as pre patch.
